In Time is a 2011 American science fiction action film written, co-produced, and directed by Andrew Niccol. Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried star as inhabitants of a society that uses time from one's lifespan as its primary currency, with each individual possessing a clock on their arm that counts down how long they have to live. Cillian Murphy, Vincent Kartheiser, Olivia Wilde, Matt Bomer, Johnny Galecki, and Alex Pettyfer also star.

In Time is one of my favourite Sci-Fi film. The concept is amazin. Many criticised its' execution but tbh I loved it

This movie was so slept on, its been a favorite of mine for years, the level of social commentary mixed in with an interesting concept and a fun bonnie and Clyde story. Absolutely awesome film. Thank you for making me think about it again

Andrew Niccol has written several of my favorite films. I liked this one but it's not his best. I think Niccol is a genius-of-our-time writer (educated, insightful, and masterful in the use of speculative fiction) but perhaps only a passably talented director. The movies he directs tend to have a soap-opera feel to them, which suited Gattaca perfectly, but this one I think not so much. And the casting for this film (all people who can pass as 25 year olds) didn't really make for authentic-feeling characters in my opinion. Maybe most people wrote this off as a B-Movie.
But maybe there are more young people around today that want to nerd-out on economics concepts, and they might give "In Time" a second go at success.

Also, I had no idea! I knew that he had wrote The Truman Show, which I really liked and will definitely be recapping in a future video. But overall, I thought the plot of this movie was enjoyable and all the actors seemed like they were really invested. I do agree that it was a bit overly dramatic, but I just assumed that given the situation they were facing, that it was part of the world building. Cheers!
