That Flex drill also has an wrist protecting function in the case that the bit bites. Just in case you or your viewers didn't know. I use mine frequently and it's save my wrists many times already.

I'm glad flex came out ,so it will keep others on there toes. But every flex tool I have used has been extremely heavy. Maybe they just feel heavy cause I have always used milwaukee. I'm a Milwaukee guy, they have always been reliable for me. I think I'll stick to Milwaukee !!

True 👍 we need a new tool company to challenge the big red and yellow. Now it's forcing those manufacturers to step up the game.

Can't wait till Milwaukee introduces there stacked lithium ! They may have been dethroned at one point or another but after being number on for so long , that just gives them the fuel to out do the competition with newer generations !

I’m still on the fence with flex… i’ve always been in Milwaukee guy through and through branched out to some Dewalts and some Makita but my goal to is always been in Milwaukee…. For the flex being a little bit heavier, and working over 24 feet high, that comes in to play… and for me Milwaukee, is on the lighter side and powerful… So for me I vote.Milwaukee….

Even if the flex was drastically better than the Milwaukee, I'm not going to run out and get it and potentially switch over when I've already invested in Milwaukee. Flex isn't there yet I admire them but they aren't convincing anyone to switch. The only reason I went to Milwaukee is because my tools got stolen and I wasn't impressed with the DeWalt I had at the time and this was around the Time we got the first stimulus check so that's what it went towards.

Flex are fairly new tools, and afaik it isn't very international yet as I havn't seen it here (Norway). I'd say give it 5 years and see how it holds up to use. You rarely see Hilti in these "vs videos" and still they are THE #1 heavy use brand. Why? Because longevity and withstanding abuse is more important than a quarter of a second here and there. I saw a guy who had his Hilti's covered in concrete. COVERED! Like he dropped them in it and jackhammered them out! Anyone comes close to that, they have a winner, even if they are slightly slower driving a screw.

I have the DCD805 hammer drill, and I swear it’s better than my Milwaukee 2803 Gen3, and better than my other Dewalt hammer drills in masonry, brick, concrete, and block. The only thing, it’s a compact so no handle.
      Thank You!

The truth is that the test is not even because you immediately see the color of the wood: in the place where the Milwaukee drill is used the wood is whiter and where the Flex drill is used the color of the chip is brown It means that the wood is much harder, you can also see the size of the wood chips.

None of that matters if the tool won’t still perform after 5 years. Everyone knows Milwaukee is built to last. What does anyone know about Flex?

One thing i don't like about bought of this drill is their auxiallary handle because i own a chinese made nanwei brand cordless hammer drill that has the same handle and it's really hard to use, a 360 handle like the one that used by dewalt and bosch is much better handle.
