I went to school with Lorne and he lived with my best friend in cerritos He not only was a great bass player he was a great guitar player. In fact he showed me how to play closer to the heart by rush . The band he was in was a 3 piece. They played rush ufo and early y&t covers. They opened for quiet riot xciter and others. The band was called maybe later. He contributed a lot more to the writing than people know. Selling speed yeah say what you since hes no longer with us. Maybe they might consider he got tired of working for free and there was no reason to show up. Jack ripped people off to support his habit and even shot someone in the process. Hes fortunate the courts went easy. Neither one attended his funeral or sent a card. Lorne was a kind person with talent not a arrogant asshole like jack. Jack got away with a lot because he had an exceptional voice. He never had a kind word to say about anyone whenever I was around him. Strange Lornes hands were in the video and nothing else

Thanks for the cool info. Lorne was my favorite bass player when I was a kid. While he was alive, I tracked him down through a friend of his on Facebook. I reached out to her to see if she could convince him to do an interview. She asked him, but he turned it down. He probably died a few years later. Still bothers me, to this day, that I didn't get the interview. I even reached out to his mom on Facebook, a few years ago, to see if she'd do an interview. I never received a reply, but who knows if FB even showed her the message. I hope he had a good life after Great White. Thanks again.

@fullinbloom your welcome! This was tough to listen too. Lorne contributed and arranged a lot of the music. He gave Kendall some valuable guitar lessons and niven took credit liberties. Lorne let it slide investing in the future trusting them. He realized he was getting screwed and asked for more and was denied. He wasn't compensated for the work and made nothing on tour. Him being late was more spite frustration and payback. He was very disgruntled when he left and probably denied your request because he was embarrassed and his pride was hurt. He couldn't fight their accusations. Yes he drank and drugged but his financial situation wasn't from that it was from not being paid. People's perception of a rock star that toured the world is their wealthy. He felt no one would believe him so he didn't care to discuss it. Anyway I just wanted to share the truth.
Also wanted to mention you have the coolest voice and do excellent work👍

I knew Lorne also .. I jammed with him a few times in Downey California .. Yes he was a Partier just like all of Us .. and yet When we hangout he never spoke bad about The Members of GW and never talked about his financial problems .. he was a Cool Dude just ready to Jam and have fun .. and that was a Great Memories and Times with Lorne RIP BROTHER 👍🤟🎸🙏

This is the only thing I don't like about the Rock Me video, no closeups of Lorne who truly embodied the 80's heavy metal look and had the skills of a bass madman.

I met Lauren Black. He never cared for all of the party stuff. He was so kind and humble. His girlfriend Mary was a sweetheart too! These people have no truth on him. Just looking for hits on the trash they post. My sister and Lauren use to go on chatting and chatting. Hope to see him shining in heaven oneday.

Im a little confused jack said he wanted Lorne to spend the night why? If he shows up late its ok because hes with jack. According to jack Lorne was 6 hrs late and already fired before he arrived. They confirm Lorne recorded the song and it his hands in the video. So the reason for only showing his hands? Did his hands arive 6 hrs before his body? Maybe jack can explain how his hands appear in the video. He did say he was fired before he arrived. Typically If your fired you leave. They could have used anyones hands who would know. Anyone know what thing from the Addams family looked like? So Lorne toured the world and played on once bitten. Did he not make any money is that why he allegedly sold dope ? Pope jack cant have a drug bust its bad for the band. Jack anything else youd like to share since Lorne dead.
Jack someone who shoots the maid in a botched robbery attempt.should change their last name. You should consider ass or off . Should make you the authority for band protocol since you had to cancel half a summer tour do to your relapse in 2005 related to alcohol and coke

@@bobpugliese4428 you spoke with him a couple of days beforehe died? I'm sorry for your loss! 💔. What was he like? I watched GW videos and zoned in on him. He looked like he felt the music. Beautiful handsome man, was he kind on the inside too? Everyone I know who has addictions are beautiful souls, they're people who are hurting💔 I get it..
(Assuming what I read about him having additions is true. Makes no difference to who he was as a person) 💔.
      Respectfully,

After meeting him, not knowing who he was or the band either, I apologized and said I'm sure you're very good bassist. Several days later he n my friend Donnie Guerrero that had a smoke shop on Bellflower Blvd. They came to my house, Lorne seen I have several guitars , instruments and Congas out. He asked if he could play my sons acoustic n he did, I played my congas and we just had fun for a couple of songs. Then they left , next thing I heard about him was he had passed. Shame shame a very friendly nice guy. RIP
