I saw Great White last night and they kicked ass along with Slaughter in Idaho. Had no idea he was such a fantastic guitarist 👍💯
In late January early February 2003 I and a few other employees from Indiana Downs in Shelbyville, Indiana were in Evansville Indiana setting up our first OTB (Off Track Betting).
Anyway, at our Hotel after our first day of many days there training people and setting up this new OTB, we went to the bar to have some fun and play some pool.
And guess who we ran into in this very small bar at the Hotel?

I played pool with Ty Longely and, I believe Mark played a few games too.
Jack stayed on the tour bus only to come in for a pitcher of beer every so often. ( A couple of the girls with us ended up going with Jack to check out the bus.)
Great White was to play at the Oxygen Theater and then, go to the Rhode Island gig 2 days later.
Ty (May he RIP), Mark and the different drummer were great but Jack, he sure was headstrong and a complete a** to all of us at the bar! (Audie was doing something with family or another gig.)
Needless to say, we were lucky to meet such a great band and, have drinks and play pool with them!
They gave us some tickets to the O2 bar/gig, a few of us went, some of us had to be up early for work.
Never did we or they know that a terrible tragedy was only a few days away for Great White and so many others.
Very sad situation but it was great to meet the entire band and, have an intimate time with them in a small bar!
The girls (Nikki and Anna) have a few pictures of all of us together.
Some great memories before the bad memories were made. RIP TY

Well, that was a very interesting interview.
The beginning with Mark being so jovial and easygoing. Well, that was fun. I really like Mark a lot. I think he's a wonderful person and he helps a lot of people through their struggles with sobriety so kudos to Mark for his noble efforts in that field. It was nice to see him in such a candid moment.
The next segment where you're discussing the fire....
Mark is clearly shaken. It's obvious that he's still traumatized from that event.
What a terrible thing to have to go through and relive. I felt bad watching him suffer like that. Don't you ever wish that you can just take someone's pain away?
Anyway, it's good to hear his side of the story.
I'm glad that he and Jack don't have any bad blood.
Sometimes the difficult questions need to be asked.
Sally, thank you for being brave enough to ask the difficult questions.
So you wanna take the (living) musicians pain away ????

Great Interview and loved the clips of Brett Carlisle. He did such an awesome job filling in. We love All Or Nothing too and miss seeing these guys they are all so talented. I wish them all the best. Now if only Great White would come back to Louisville Kentucky that would be awesome!
The 20th anniversary is almost here. Hope the Guy who lost his face (Joe) and one of the victims daughter (Sarah Jane) is doing well as well as everyone else.
