    Cato, I really like the time stamp, starting and current time for the hand being played. It helps me stay patient in live games and not go chasing rabbits when the cards get cold!

    Hey Cato, when you rivered top set in the first hand with aces it totally wasn’t cool to wait for her to show first, it’s basically a slow roll, you were the last aggressor and you should always be showing down first even if you’re bluffing, it’s just proper etiquette, she doesn’t have to show her hand in that situation as she called your bet.

    • @rockdamian
      @rockdamian Před 2 lety +8

      I agree with you. He explained in and earlier vlog that he does that so we can all see what she got for the vlog. However, I rather just ask her nicely afterwards if you could see. But I agree, you should've shown first since she called you.

      I thought her all in covered my bet at the time, which is why I put another stack in. Her stack size was a bit deceptive bc of how her reds and whites were mixed up. It wasn’t til later I realized I in fact had her covered.
      At the time, it took me a few seconds to realize it was too close for me to tell and that my hand was so strong, I should just reveal.

    I like the clock. Sometimes you just have to be a few minutes more patient than the next guy. Under a deadline, tired, stupid, and drunk also come into play. There is no shortage of young players that think they have the game clocked. Online play has so many rec players spoiled. Then they hit a live cash game and they are insanely bored and impatient.

    When people win right away, they become susceptible to cash tilt, where they bleed chips making loose calls, and wider ranges. The secret after winning big early: force yourself into a tighter preflop calling range (ie: fold almost everything) for an hour until that rush goes away. Some people even fill guilty and self sabotage. Cash tilt is real, I've seen it a million times.

    The 65 hand where you flopped two pair is prime for an over bet on the turn with two flush draws available, and three straight draws available. I would have bet $125. That being said, your bet worked so they must not have had anything….at all.
