    The QJo hand, on splashy tables where everybody calls with junk preflop, I dont think you need to cbet as big as 75% into ace high flush draw 4way flops. If anybody has a piece they are calling, your bluffs become too expensive. I like to go for 40%-50%. It gives a good price multiway which is usually bad, BUT they are very face-up on the turn, you know whats a brick and whats not. Then you can bomb brick turns (like 90%-130% depending on stack). Also, after 75% on the flop, is every bluff a pure give up? Do you go check check on turn, and then bluff river again when draws miss? Or block river to induce a bluff when we backdoor a value hand? Or check call with bluff catchers? Or block with bluff catchers?
    This hand is very interesting because it kind of sets up what kind of player you are and how every other hand in range plays, and in my experience a very common situation that happens to me all the time playing live. An ace high flush draw flop where we are the preflop aggressor and are multiway. Do we bet every ace,flush draw, gutshot, or pair in our range? Probably mixing with everything. What is our check raise looking like, 2pair and sets only?(Way too nutted) What is our check calling looking like? Weak aces?
    Sometimes you got a guy to your left that is betting 80%pot with flush draws all night, so you decide to check raise jam kinda thin to force him to gamble. Sometimes you got the guy who will only call and chase any draw, and when he misses river will bluff huge, this makes you want to check all brick rivers and let him blast.
    Just my random rambling thoughts that this hand brought up. A very simple on the surface hand, but is very important when thinking about our entire range and how we want to play this board vs live players who just flat preflop multiway.

    Don't continuation bet against donkeys in a raised pot. When you had QJ and basically zero equity on that flop the guy called a raise preflop with 7 3 off. The only reason you got away with that all in bluff with J9 is because your opponent probably had nothing with J10 by the way he played the hand. if sheriff actually had Queen anything you would have went broke.

    Not sure how that dealer allowed your re-raise when you bet 40 and the all in went for 77. In no way, shape, or form, should you have been allowed to bet again on the flop. The straddle has nothing to do with the action post-flop. Just my thoughts. I need to be at casinos where dealers allow this. Very, very profitable for good players.

    • @PokerBEAST
      @PokerBEAST  Před 2 lety

Calling an all in with K9 slow playing QQs cold calling three bets with A3 off. Looks like you played better with solid cards. You got you J9o though because the image you cultivated.
