      I saw a video where a small proximity/timed shell of some kind was fired at a window on the second floor. It predictably burst in mid air just as it passed inside the window frame. No more blowing apart the outside of the building to breach the concrete blocks, or a round passing unimpeded through a window and leaving through the first room and into another unintended room somewhere behind it. That's useful for reducing "collateral damage" deaths to someone who didn't deserve it.

    • @Sara-L
      @Sara-L Před 6 lety +45

      In situations where there's hostages in the area, you don't want a lethal air-burst round.. It's not intended to reduce collateral damage. It's a saturation weapon to eliminate hidden enemies and to saturate the target area with shrapnel.

      assassinlexx sorry to disappoint you, but I ´m actually not one of your compatriots. Nevertheless, or maybe especially because of this fact, I do have a better global view of what is currently going on in the USA, a country I enjoyed to visit in the past, meeting some great people and therefore feeling just sad about the way lower educated or unilaterally informed people get trapped in the nets of some smart but evil powerful persons pulling the strings...
      I never was a supporter of Hillary and her establishment, but to fight the Devil with Belzebub isn’t a solution either ! I know it would be wasted time to try to open the eyes of blinded and foolished people, so I won’t even try, but once again, it just makes me sad to witness how a nation which could be so great, is so easily divided by hate generated by his “leaders”, no matter if Democrats or Republicans, for the sole purpose of letting them become just even more rich and powerful !
      Many Americans stick so much to the second amendment to ensure them to have the weaponry to “fight their own government ” if necessary, but so few do realize that if they would one time elect a government which REALLY cares about his people, such fears would not even exist. Damn’ , you have over 300 million people and the only choice left is between a narcissistic psychopath and an old man grown up in an elitistic establishment !
