I have yet to see a failed vacuum pump, it’s almost always the gasket that is leaking. But I can’t be certain only the gasket it leaking so I always recommend replacing the pump (it includes the gasket) to make sure it won’t leak from the vacuum pump.
@@sheemio2x Oil leaks that are the most common, usually the vacuum pump or the upper oil pan or fuel injector to valve cover seals , the earlier ones like 11-14 the turbo oil feed fitting can leak. For coolant leaks the fitting in the turbo can leak , water pumps , radiator, radiator hose o-rings or the thermostat housing.

Mine was leaking from the bolts not being tight. And mine were the bottom ones. I just took them out one at a time and put blue loctite on them

I didn’t take the tensioner off when I pulled the vacuum pump. I actually left the fan and idler pulley assembly connected.

@@troy9616 I have no experience with forscan, you ideally should reset the high pressure fuel system to allow it to learn the regulator.

Curious, to have you loose the fan, what did u use, regular wrench with impact air gun???
I use a air hammer with the fan clutch attachments , part number for the attachment Is 43300 lisle brand.
