Mine was leaking from the bolts not being tight. And mine were the bottom ones. I just took them out one at a time and put blue loctite on them

I didn’t take the tensioner off when I pulled the vacuum pump. I actually left the fan and idler pulley assembly connected.

@@drewsshoplifeDrew, you mentioned something about programming the fuel rail. Can I do that with FORSCAN?

@@troy9616 I have no experience with forscan, you ideally should reset the high pressure fuel system to allow it to learn the regulator.

How do you know if the vacuum pump bad

I have yet to see a failed vacuum pump, it’s almost always the gasket that is leaking. But I can’t be certain only the gasket it leaking so I always recommend replacing the pump (it includes the gasket) to make sure it won’t leak from the vacuum pump.

Do you have an idea on any common leaks on the 6.7 powerstoke

    • @drewsshoplife

@@sheemio2x Oil leaks that are the most common, usually the vacuum pump or the upper oil pan or fuel injector to valve cover seals , the earlier ones like 11-14 the turbo oil feed fitting can leak. For coolant leaks the fitting in the turbo can leak , water pumps , radiator, radiator hose o-rings or the thermostat housing.
