oh trust me, Toni and Mig are definitely interested in test driving this obviously inferior barnyard roadster... (thanks for posting! I'll definitely be trying it and comparing it to my attempt...)
I axadently made a car of yor brand cus I didn’t now you owned that brand and it’s cald the 1982 clsalpina rotopad and I don’t now haw to send it to you
Actually I changed the name to vajjer rotopad at the last second but you can test it if you want if I now haw to you or haw to send it to the beme ng mod page
I love the feeling that you bring out with the lore, the black and white loading screens and actually driving the car to the bank I cant wait to see where you go with this series!
Wow I’m amazed. You are the most concise and methodical automation youtuber I’ve seen and your quality of video really reflects that. Genuinely I’m blown away and very impressed. I can tell this is a passion project for your love of classic and gorgeous cars and I truly appreciate your attention to detail put to a car from honestly an amazing era of motor sports. It’s a simple but such perfectly crafted car and I hope I can do something similar when I get my hands on the game after the SC update. I was so moved by your passion that I just had to write this paragraph. Thanks for your content and I’ve been enjoying it since Might Motors I hope to see more videos of Cisalpina soon. Thanks and best of luck!!!
You absolutely nailed the post war shed car design with this. I hope you're able to get this campaign going reasonably well, it should be fun to watch!
Bayer really said: "I'm going to create a lore that is so interesting and immersive..." It already looks fantastic, can't wait for the future of Cisalpina!
Alright, this is what convinced me to sub. I watched your Luxury campaign before and thought it was pretty good, but watching you start a new series on the current update with the amount of lore behind it managed to sucker me in. I'm excited to see where you take Cisalpina from here! Based on where we're starting I can almost imagine it going in a direction similar to Fiat.
Hah! Fair enough, I was just thinking of early Fiat sports cars like the 8V and the 1200 Spider. I guess I just pictured the brand making things more like the X1/9 and the Fiat 124 Sport than like, a 288GTO@@the.bavarian
@@nicholascooper945 I understand! Maybe it is a bit more comparable to early Abarth as of know, but let's see how things develop! I definitely do not go into proper mass production on a Fiat scale and keep it more on the specialized sporty side.
Very nice! Looks like an Ita- i mean Fruinian Morgan. Very interested what markets will Cisalpina be expanding to once they get those pockets filled with something other than spider webs. I guess Super + Hyper are obvious, as well as GT and GT Premium. Perhaps Family Sport might be a thing to consider (maybe even Sport Utility, for our hefty Gazmean friends)
Hell yeah, we're all here for the show! I'm so excited, really, I love all the details (and being Italian it just feels good to see that gold plate with the info of the car). I also love the roleplay aspect you put into it, works great!
I probably won't be able to even keep a weekly schedule, sorry! Automation is not an easy game to produce good Let's plays for, as design and editing takes forever. But I want to do it anyways, it just has to take time and I don't want to sacrifice quality too much!
Amazing! This is exactly the type of campaign gameplay I’ve been looking for, with lots of detail in lore, car design and technical choices. Super excited for the next video!
I love to see some lore being added to the production and design, I don't know how well the game allows you to simulate competition but it would be interesting to see competitors vehicles and a general state of the market, whether that is other companies building "people's cars" or such. From a design perspective it is very reminiscent of early Porsche designs, and I can easily see such a vehicle being featured favourably on Top Gear as an "exciting" old classic thanks to quirky handling and lack of roof rather than raw speed or acceleration coming from the engine, and because it may well be seen like early Porsche or Alfa Romeos as the start of a truly legendary marque.
In the upcoming episodes there will be sales breakdowns where you can see other companies' cars and stats and I at least show the market situation in my target demographics. The cars are not designed visually, but at least I gave the companies a name (which got overwritten by a game update in episode 3, but will be coming back in the future).
I know what u we’re going for with the barnyard aesthetic But even if you build a car in a shed you can still use measuring tools to make it symmetrical
Very nice video, I absolutely love your role-playing style of play, sacrificing min-maxing in favour of the flavour. I know catastrophically little about cars, but you managed to make this complicated game I am very unlikely to ever play very interesting to watch. Can't wait to see how this company will evolve with years.
@@the.bavarian haha im just playing with you, watching you and killrob and it was funny to me that you also are going for smaller cars rather than larger ones
I am absolutely floored by the amount of care and detailing you put into this first car - the rivets, the hand built look and the little plaque - love it 🥰 And then you add some sugar on top with an amazing background story and lore. Weltklasse! 👏🏼
What a lovely little car! I would absolutely have one of them. There's a beauty about a car being so simple and void of anything not important to the task of being a car that you can have more fun with less than 50 hp than you can with a million dollar hypercar. If petrolheads ran car companies this is the kind of car that we'd get. Sadly, they don't, the suits do, and so we get endless soul-sucking crossovers.
You have a lot more patience when it comes to design than I do. I’ve yet to put an interior into a car. I rather spend time to extract the absolute maximum of power out of an engine using boost, compression and fuel.
awww yeah i can feel this will be a enjoyable campaign, love the little mans sports car, what it ends up as who knows but early on it's a people's recer it seems :)
nice job on the car, I like watching your videos for ideas on improving my designs, your campaign setup hits home with me on this one (how I start 75% of mine)
🤣didnt look at the name when i clicked on the video, instantly heared that you are german or rather a german native speaker. Nice series, gonna keep watching!
I usually don't watch automation playthroughs, but this was quite interesting. Also you seem to be damn good at making cars in the editor, I can never get anything to turn out that well.
Hey Der Bayer, love your stuff. New Automation update is looking great so far. For your playthrough after Cisalpina, could you make a company such as Lancia, Audi, or Peugeot and become a rally racing legend? Thank you and keep doing great!
Hi and thanks! I think there should be room for some Group B rally stuff for Cisalpina! We will definitely have something similar to a Stratos when the time comes!
It would be awesome to have a beamNG race component where your cars race automation competitors cars. It could add to the story and show your racing passions especially with older cars and the road rallies through to modern day. Maybe a rally every other year?
You can test the car yourself in BeamNG: www.beamng.com/resources/cisalpina-light-sports-cars.29561/

This looks like it would be priced millions of dollars today, amazing job on its design!
The Automation/BeamNG crossover/collaboration is fantastic, it makes automation so much better, actually being able to get hands on with your cars.
Holy shit, you really went the extra mile on this :D Maybe we need to make Cisalpina canon in Automation! Superb lore build :) Cheers
Wait, would this mean the mountain range bordering Fruinia is *also* called the Alps in the Automationverse?
@@onceuponabanThe mountain range is called The Southern Alps already, so no need to change anything.
The confirmation is a relief, I was hoping I remembered it correctly :D

its crazy that you ramp up the difficulty this much and still decide to make roleplaying decisions. Hats off to doing that.

So keen to see how you tackle the new challenges of 4.3!
Love this form factor where you explain in more detail what exactly you're doing! I'm really looking forward to future installments!

What a cute lil thing! I'm super hyped up for the new campaign!
I love the lore you put into these brands so much, it gives them life

Excited for this! The car looks beautiful
