Multi Strand Pulling Coupler - Innovation for Post Tensioning work

Bullet-shaped Post Tensioning Multi-strand Pulling Coupler for simultaneous pulling-threading together the multiple unbounded Post Tensioning tendons via a duct (metal or plastic) within the structure. Only one pulling strand is needed to thread the Bullet Pulling Coupler to which are attached the multiple multi-strand tendons intended to be placed within one shared duct.
Multi-strand pulling coupler was developed to allow easy strand threading for multi-strand tendons with limited access when it is hard or impossible to use pushing machines. It is to be used for example in bridge construction or other PT (post tensioning) civil engineering work. Most common situations of this kind are when:
• tendons are very long, especially if unbounded PT is to be installed
• external PT is being installed and cable tubes/ducts are not supported rigidly for strand threading
• access to anchor is limited and using a pusher is not feasible or highly inconvenient.
Using this tiny, yet very effective device strand threading can be performed easily and at minimum cost.
