    I wonder how long it will be until lashing robots are economical.

    • @EmptyZoo393
      @EmptyZoo393 Před 2 lety

      Depends how well they handle degraded equipment. Inside robots with known environments and no rust are very capable these days. Dealing with rusted fittings, faded labels, slippery surfaces, and the omnipresent effects of sea spray, all while on a bucking ship with the wind randomly hitting broadside? Whole different ballgame. I don't doubt there's a lot of potential, but it will be expensive enough it'll be a few years I suspect.

    Why are you lashing the deck while the crane is loading very dangerous in Australia we don't lash until the crane is moving to another deck we never lash while the crane is operating on the deck as a pin could drop off and hit you and also the crane flipper could fall off. Be safe guys and don't let the company in danger your lives stay safe comrades.

      IT for sure will see future aplication to make this operations automate and safer than ever, with the least human intervention on the scene but rather remotely. So in some sense your specialized area will soon be connected to lashing operations in the Word's major logistics hubs.

Looking at this video, I see the problem now.. Come to Jacksonville and this Video would be a Lil Darker.. They actually say we "make too much money" doing this same thing this video proudly showing "Mzungu people: doing..THE EXACT SAME JOB, but the "Dark ones" MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY..
