I had been dealing with T for most of my life....I have discovered quite by accident, that the ringing was from TOXICITY in the body.....so I began taking Epsom salt bath everyday ...soak for 15 minutes. This has help greatly to detox...I know the journey is difficult I know friends....also, Vitamin C from citrus fruits which have Polyfenols.... and do what you must to relax....also Pray and I pray for all those reading this and your loved ones...........drink a good amount of water as well........AND NEVER NEVER NEVER GIVE UP.

HABITUATION people. I found that focusing on and accepting my tinnitus helped me. I was diagnosed at 13, I am now 40. My tinnitus is a constant high pitched ringing, coupled with pulsitile tinnitus in left ear. It has become part of my life, it is what it is. Please don't fight, lean in and accept your tinnitus. No more rain sounds/white noise. Focus on it at night. We don't even know we have cloths on! Habituate if you can. Much love!!!!

Three years in. I was not ready to head this three years ago. It’s a long process.

@@HicksGribble you could try using it as a point of guidance for meditation?. Whenever I find myself lost in thought during meditation, I draw my attention back to my tinnitus. This helped me find a purpose for my tinnitus, and in turn, it has become a positive thing in my life. When I have spikes, I tell myself the universe is speaking to me through my tinnitus, it's a sign to slow things down. I hope this helps a bit. Much love

I have been suffering from this disease for 4 years. i am from pakistan.. I am in a lot of depression.. along with this my ears have become sensitive.. I don't know English, I am trying to write it using Google translate. my life has become very difficult. I have two children.... and now I am tired of this disease. I am tired of taking antibiotics. Many times I get the thought of suicide... I have become weak. I do not understand what to do

Is there a medical reason that you're taking antibiotics? Taking antibiotics does nothing for tinnitus and it will destroy your gut bacteria which will affect your mood, potentially causing anxiety and depression. You should read about the connection between gut bacteria and mental health.

I am so sorry you feel so bad, please don’t lose hope.
The best advice I got from an audiologist when I got heavy tinnitus and hyperacusis (also 4 years ago): focus on your well being first in a broad sense, deal with the tinnitus later. So my journey was more or less the same as Juan’s, dealing with emotions, letting go of expectations, burdens. Just being kind to self and others. And as the focus shifts in what makes life valuable and authentic, we calm down. Tinnitus is not the real disease, just a symptom of an overalert nervous system. I am also a parent, i know how you feel. Accept the sounds as yours and unthreatening. We are just to much tuned in to the natural buzzes of our nervous system. It is not harmful❤

@@mplacalist6163 There is pressure in my ears. My ears sometimes get blocked and sometimes they open. Especially when there is silence all around then there is a lot of pressure in my ears and the sound of bubbles blast is heard. Even if there is slight noise, sounds come in my ears and cause irritation. Now I am going to lose my memory. I want to live my life like I did before tinnitus 😭😭😭😭😭I tried to calm down but I am feeling tired. please pray for me. May god give health to everyone who is suffering from this disease.
