    I follow Julian’s videos and found myself a good Cranio therapist in Mainz Germany. Nowadays I am perfectly able to settle with help of Cranio and healthy food to calm down which can last for weeks. I also recommend to combine with light sports like gym every now and then. I also watch Liam Boehm videos which is very focused on fasting, I believe this could completely eradicate tinnitus though I didn’t try it yet because I can live with the current status (exactly like Simon’s) very well.

      A Muminovic hi it takes time. But is all about settling down. In the first year I had a small Dosis of Ssri anti depressants it’s called mirtazapin. It immediately helped. After about a year I stopped taking it and I was 60% better than in the very beginning. Gradually even better with light sports and Cranio. Eat healthy. I find it surprising that Simon Baker still hears the tinnitus at level 1 or 2. I’d hoped that his story would be a success story like Julian. The only thing I’m wondering is why didn’t his tinnitus back off full 100 procent since he’s very well aware of his nervous system and cranio therapy. It does take away the hope that I can 100 procent get rid of my tinnitus. But I’m starting cranio therapy tomorrow so I pray that it will give me the same succes as julian.

    • @JulianCowanHill
      @JulianCowanHill  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes. Even if you have hearing loss the internal hyper-sensitivity to sound can switch off and reset itself. Once your system becomes indifferent to it and you no longer feel threatened then the brain can become very good at ignoring the boring irrelevant internal brain buzz again.

  • @wahabwahab2042
    @wahabwahab2042 Před 5 lety

    i have a question about tinnitus and i guess u r the one who can give me the answer that i want ..
    i got tinnitus in my right ear but i don’t remember honestly when cuz once i asked mo mother”do u hear ringing sounds in ur ears ? is it normal? i mean all of us?” she said i have also ringing in the ears and its normal later i know that people with high blood pressure they can hear ringing in the ears..but mine i guess “for sure” from loud sound cuz i go to techno night clubs a lot and stay there for 12 hours ..
    the second ear started on march when i was in the night club and i wore earplugs cuz in the same month i asked my friend about the ringing in the ears and she said u must see dr cuz that is not good symptom..so i went to the dr he said ur ears hearing is good and the ringing is because of loud exposure
    any ways ..on that day when i was in the party and very close to the sound system also i was wearing earplugs -9dB
    i went out then my ear left ear started to ring till now
    and i got used to it
    probably i thought the earplugs will protect but i didn’t know that the filter is just to lower the sound and the sound in techno night clubs are too much loud which the filter can’t help
    also i didn’t know there is another filter that totally cut the sound not lowering it
    so it’s my fault that i didn’t know about filters ear plugs , mine is costumed by the way.
    i went few time to night clubs and i relized when i get back home the tinnitus becomes louder
    then it later second day returns back to the same level of daily sound in the ears .. then i stopped to go to night clubs cuz i thought maybe the sound will louder and permanent.. but i relized even if i don’t go to night clubs sometimes i hear the same loud level of tinnitus when i get out from night clubs !!
    when u go to night clubs and get out with louder tinnitus sound , could it makes it “permanent louder” or just same what happened to me before “louder when u get out from club, then normal level of tinnitus sound the second day “ ??

    • @theastewart6721

      Not much. I could have a cochlear implant that would possibly restore some of the hearing and get rid of the tinnitus. I’m not sure I want to do anything that drastic. This happened to my husband 30 years ago. He didn’t have the pressure in his head but he had constant ringing. He said he got used to it and doesn’t notice it anymore. I found the doctor not very helpful. I went to Mass Eye and Ear. They are supposedly the best.

      I actually don’t know Sean. I’ll have to ask him. Yes, I think the relaxation techniques will help. I saw a neurologist who was more helpful than the ear doctor. She gave me exercises to do and said that the stiffness in my neck can make it worse. I find that the more noise around me the worse it gets. Being in a restaurant used to be a pleasure. Not anymore. It’s a nightmare. And to make matters worse I just got a floater in my right eye last night! Geesh! Oh well! It’s been a crazy year. Your input has been very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you!

    The main message here is to show that tinnitus is not a FIXED thing. By taking care you yourself - learning what relaxes your central nervous system, you can get tinnitus to back off. Main stream tells you it is ear damage and permanent. They are saying it is a stress reaction of the central nervous system and temporary and can be controlled.

      Well..4 years later...nothing has changed. Touch wood it hasn't gotten worse (like a higher pitch).I had some tests done about 2 years back, and I definitely have some hearing loss in both ears. I was offered to test a sort of device (kinda like a hearing aid) that produces noises that cancel the ones I have. Thing is it's not free, costs an arm and a leg. So am living with it. Worse is when I get up, from a long night sleep (or a short nap), the 'volume' is much higher, same when I'm getting stressed out. Anyway, I wish I had better news or at least found some kind of 'volume reducing' solution...but..nope.
      According to the specialist, it seems that mine my be due to high volume exposure...Gonna be 49 soon, but in my teens, was a heavy-metal guy, then became a techno-head...that for sure didn't help. Makes me wish I paid more attention back then. (if that's truly the cause...otherwise, no regrets! ). Maybe one day they'll find a way to pinpoint why the brain has to compensate that loss of sound with more stupidly annoying ones. Takes care peeps.
