The talion is by far the most under rated rig of arrm 6s rogs. I have 50 plus rigs an over half are arrma rigs. ❤ but to be far my favorite is a custom talion v3 woth kraton v3 suspension. Best handling rig ever. Flys high an low.
I think the Kraton is amazing. Put some Dboots Backflips on it and it’s amazing. My Fireteam breaks every time I take it out… rear diff last week and front diff this week. I launch the Kraton 40-50 feet and haven’t had any issues.
Nice I’m building a talion bought a donor rc for parts just waiting for it to arrive but my kraton v5 I haven’t broke one thing on it yet and it has done some nasty crashes/landings
They are literally the identical vechile. I have both and do love the Talion but looking at them, the differences are so minimal. The tires for one. The Talion has lsd setup in front, center and rear while the Kraton has open diffs in the front and rear and an lsd in the center. Other than that, the Kraton now has the aluminum diff housings. I can't see many other differences. Toss the Talion's tires on the Kraton, put on a larger pinion and you then have two Talions. Literally. That said, I have had the Talion hit 71 mph on the stock sysyem with a 20 tooth. 23 tooth on the stock system is gonna get to 80 mph. And this with the gen 1 Spektrum system, which did break literally one year exactly into buying it. I suspect the Black edition esc will make it a bit faster.

It has to do with the suspension geometry. Also, the Talion has a much lower stance. The Talion also has much smaller wheels.

Exactly, I run Katars on all of my 1/8 scale truggies, Talion, Kraton, Sledge, Hyper SSTE and TC Muraco, no problems at all!
