Yup, I had very red hair as a child. Hated it, my brown haired brothers picked on me. Aussie here with Scottish, Irish and Welsh ancestors. And my maiden name is Stuart. Yes the gene is still going lol. One of my daughters is not as red as I was but a strawberry blonde, a touch of red. . Just turned 70 and still not completely grey😊, more a champagne colour, all natural. It pays off in the end to be a red head lol

Been with ginger and also married to ginger. Here in Sweden it's said that ginger have temper. Kind of is true. My wife had real bad temper.

I’m from Australia and ginger - but with Irish Scottish, Welsh and English ancestors. Not too far back, realised my paternal grandparents were first generation Aus from England.
I like redheads they don't scare me, quite the opposite.
I think it was about being different, not like everyone else.
I had very red hair as child and I hated it. I wanted to be normal like other people lol. Probably because my brown haired brothers thought of every red hair nickname. I remember my bro saying my hair was red as my brains were rusted - yes now I can laugh 😂. I’m senior now, but all my girlfriends are totally grey - but I still have a tinge of red, more a Champagne colour - lucky me lol.

I don’t think it’s ok to make fun of ginger people, my brother is ginger and he was teased mercilessly, his daughters have died their ginger hair blond because of the abuse.
