- Just came across this old clip we had from our visit to Late Night with David Letterman. My wife and I were the only ones to stand up for him (the show's first ever standing spontaneous standing ovation), so Dave acknowledged us. We had a great time, he was the best! This version • David Letterman August... is a bit sharper as it's from the DVD itself.
