Valve's scan of Taymour Ghazi to Nick was one of the best they've done. It seems weird seeing him in real life since the scan was so well done and real.

Ngl but I think Valve was way ahead of their time using face scan models before studios like Capcom utilize this technology.
valve is amazing ever.
Valve really makes every games enjoyable so I think they're the "Good Disney" in the technologically wise.

It’s so trippy you know. You only see that face in Left 4 Dead 2 in Nick…a video game character, but to see that exact face on a normal everyday person….it’s surreal and uncanny.

Tay Ghazi was so down to earth and really nice! I loved seeing him and listening to him on the podcast! I’d love to see more voices and or face models of the left 4 dead cast in the future!

I love how Taymour Ghazi sounds very similar to Nick's voice, my guess was the intention but more with an accent. Still pretty cool and scary.
It's weird that Nick's VA and Face Model are not the same (I think) yet Tay sounds a lot like Nick

i think Nick is one of the most beloved characters. Not because he is naive like Ellis or kind like Coach, but because he is like i mean , not like "jerk" but you know is like fuck this and that and ppl loved the character because of how he is , he is my 3rd fav characters, first is Louis , Zoey and Then Nick.
Now i know this is dumb, but is shocking watching him talking and moving , because i'm so used to play the game and seeing the model of him and not in real like (i have 500 hrs on L4D2) and now im thinking "oh is a real human being" (i know is dumb, but well)
I wish him great stuff in his future, he seems like a really cool dude that likes his fanbase
You prob know this already, but if not - Valve back in the day made a poll among players and Nick was highest rated among most liked characters in l4d2 on PC along with Ellis
On Xbox, Ellis is the highest one

Cool interview. Also, I have two favorite characters in Left 4 Dead dilogy, and those are Francis and Nick. Just because there is something that I can see in them that I see in myself. Thus why when I play Left 4 Dead, I pick one of them every single time. Sure, I play as other characters too, but not as much as Francis or Nick. So yeah, watching this interview just woke up that teenager in me that I was back then. Heck, I still play Left 4 Dead just because it's a cult classic right now, and I think that Valve should just celebrate it by bringing all of the actors together and do some kind of documentary or something. Or just make a big event with all the actors where fans would ask them questions face to face, like a live Q&A. That would be awsome!

Man, Nick VA got his voice acting really good while Tay Ghazi got best performance for MoCap. It's a respect that Valve done the best. I'm still playing Left 4 Dead 2 better than high-end graphic games.

On the off chance these characters ever returned and Valve did something similar to HL: Alyx, recasting characters (and recasting them quite well), I feel Taymour could actually do a solid Nick. His voice isn't too far off from Hugh's. Preferably I would want all of the original cast to return, but I wouldn't mind this.

I love all the actors and voice actors you land but I wish you would prepare a bit better for them.
I don't want to criticise your work, but it would be much better if you prepare some notes before these interviews and ask more questions outside of just one thing these people are famous for. Otherwise it's great to see the work you put out
