Decent ideas granted, like getting more insight into jackies life without rose (actually, why not have an episode focused on her for a doctor lite episode? Why not have her join Linda instead?) but personally I found the “normal characters” too cheesy at times, and I fought Elton a little bland and too “quirky” (could do without him dancing in his pyjamas, almost ruined that song honestly 😜) not to mention it’s supposedly meant to be a love letter to the whovian fandom 😜 all I’m saying is if I wanna watch a blogger talk about doctor who for 40 minutes, I’ll go on CZcams, like I am now 😜 it’s not the worst episode of all time, but personally I think it is the worst Russell t. Loved John Simms master, loved him at age 12, still love him at 24, and I like every Tennant episode (except love and monsters, which I’m surprised wasn’t on your worst list?) by far my favourite era of doctor who
You know what? I ADORED Daleks in Manhattan and Evolution of the Daleks. The cult of Skaro became my favourite villains through that story. I loved that the concept of their imagination for survival at any cost got explored, I thought the pig men was an interesting concept although I think it would've been better if Laslow had actually died at the end. Solomon was an absolute badass and a bit like the doctor in a lot of ways, which made his execution all the more ruthless. But in the end the Daleks' hatred and pursuit of the supreme beings pushed on through, exterminating their one way out of the darkness as the doctor put it. It's quite a tragic story really, the Daleks had the ability to change in that moment and the Doctor was willing to forgive, willing to help, willing to make amends. But their hardwired mindset prevented that. I always think Doctor Who is at its best when it tries things most shows normally wouldn't. To make the Daleks imaginative and willingly accept some of humanity's values is absolutely blasphemous and it's precisely why I liked that story so much.
I think it gets blamed for being the first Dalek story to lose momentum in the revival but considering the first three were their first returning story then two season finalies it's not really the episodes fault. Also I like laslo living as it gives a bit of levity to an otherwise dower ending
Same. Sadly as 'The Doctor Falls' flashback shows, Wilfred and Mickey don't deserve a passing mention as companions these days...even though Madame Vastra and Nardole were there?
I'm 42 and HATE the romantic plotlines in this era, yet it is my favourite era by far. What you say about his untrustworthiness and so on is what makes it feel like his entire quirky persona, and by extrapolation ALL doctors quirky persona, is entirely on the surface for the sake of the people around him who wouldn't be able to handle the, essentially demigod, he basically is. He's a great actor, a likable Doctor and maybe the most human incarnation of him. He's not my favorite but he's amazing.
In my opinion, Last of the Time Lords is one of the best episodes. Although the resolution might have some some "deus ex machina" elements, it's far less so than that of the season 1 finale or the season 4 finale. The season 3 ending has some of the most emotional and most epic moments of the series. And the reset thing obviously had to happen after featuring such a dark timeline.
What's funny about last of the time lords is literally the problem could have been solved by JUST destroying the paradox machine. Like they did not need the doctor becomes space god thing to happen. Could easily have been written around in a another draft. Even though it's still a "it can all be fixed by destroying this one thing" situation, it would have made sense in the logic of the story and would have been preferable to be honest.

Best: The impossible planet/Satan pit School reunion Smith and Jones The fires of Pompeii The Library ones Worst: The End of Time Fear Her The Next Doctor The Lazarus Experiement The Sound of serums/Last of time lords
I know it might not be the best episode in the world, but I kind of love New Earth. It's hilarious, and has some interesting ideas. These ideas could have been explored more, but they were executed decently. Overall, it's a pretty good story, although it does have flaws (that resolution). Come on! It's just so much fun!
On the one hand there’s many bits in this video that I disagree with, but again respecting your opinions. I actually love Evolution of the Daleks, but will never deny that it’s not the best written. And your description of it had me laughing.
Evolution actually won me over a little last time I watched it! It's the visuals of the episode that work against it, but I realised that if it were an audio story where 4 fringe daleks experimented with mutants in New York...i'd likely adore it. So maybe I was a little unfair on it, but the design of Dalek Sec and the pigmen work against it too much for me. That said, everything in the sewers, the dalek dialogue and the side cast are all pretty strong in retrospect. Maybe i'd put The Idiots Lantern in that slot instead if I did the video now.
SamyulDavis I loved The Idiots Lantern. I used to not like it as it was the episode immediately after the Cybermen episodes, which it couldn't compete with, but I thought it was still a good story, but not the best.
How the fuck is the end of time on the worst list. it one of the best episodes that David tennant even did and john simm was the best Master I love how crazy he was
the 2 most memorable episodes of doc10 have to be the "waters of mars" and "midnight" some epic acting and writing there. Plus an honorable mention to "blink"
"Blink" Is my favorite episode, The Doctor with Martha in a distant time leaving clues to a woman who must save him just because he is the Doctor, the doctor does not care about the people who are sent back in time, he only cares about him and Martha. It's the best writing I've ever seen adapted to TV, and crying angels were scary, not like now that they're another villain in Doctor Who's long list of 57 years of bad development
The best Tennant episode for me was Blink. Funny, since he wasn't in that one much. But the best two-parter story with Tennant was Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
I always refer to Ten as the emo Doctor and Eleven as the emotional Doctor, because it's only with Eleven that I buy his melancholy. With Ten it always feels campy.
'Ive outgrown him' That's the best I've ever heard someone sum up my feelings for me. I did like Ten at a time, I find it so hard to watch him now though, endless cheese and soap opera elements.
DAVIS I mean no, Smith was a toddler and Capaldi is treated like a baby. He has a weird thing for downplaying the Doctor so that his companion takes on a ‘motherly’ role. It’s strange.
My personal favorite 10 episode is the BBC book “The Forever Trap.” The covet is horrible, but trust me it is good. It’s a great dip into the disturbing, but not in a bloody, gory, or cheap way. It is so unique and creative. It has an atmosphere like no other, and the characterizations are on point. It’s a great audiobook!
Best: End of Time 2, Waters of Mars, Midnight, The Family of Blood, and The Girl in the Fireplace for my best, in no real order. As for the worst, Love and Monsters, Fear her, and I really cant think of anything worse.
Meris Sorry. That’s all the stuff I like. 10’s weakness was his human vanity. To him, regeneration was an intensely personal death and not only is that a new idea, but vulnerability is interesting.
@@meris8486 you have to realise not everybody is confident in the face of death. 10 used up a regeneration to create the meta crisis doctor, then in 2013 we find out there is a war doctor which meant 10 was going to die but didn't and regenerated into the 11th. I love it, it is the best regeneration scene ever. Matt Smith 11th would have been the best if the regeneration wasn't so quick.

11 is my fav but 10 is 2nd place but best episodes of Tennant was; poison sky, Silence in the library, journeys end/stolen earth, fires of Pompeii, end of time and midnight. Worst are; love and monsters, fear her, 42, utopia, Shakespeare code and idiots lantern.
Why do you have the 7th Doctor's intro music for the first two minutes?
This was my doctor and god I miss him. Glad he came back for the 50th same 9 wasn’t there two but I can always imagine a story with both of them
I feel like Midnight is easily one of the most underrated episodes in this era of doctor who

David Tennant was so popular they made a pokemon character inspired by his time as the doctor look it up the character is called L00ker
canon
"The most emotional doctor today."
12 the doctor goes into a blind-silent rage
I absolutely loved him
one of my absolute favorite 10th Doctor Story is the Comic: „The Weeping Angels of Moons“, (well it‘s the german translation)
7:00 What theme is that?
Wtf, Dawko why is this in your delta rune play list?
YES! Thank you for saying that. Martha is amazing and she deserves way better.
What’s this part in deltarune?
I loved all the episodes in your list
You should do a video of top 10 recommended audio stories. There are just so many I don't know where to start.
Friday Night Prod. The 6th Doctor story ‘Davros’! It’s accessible to newbies, funny and deep. Best of all it’s free on Spotify if you’re in the UK.
ok, by now I'm convinced that I'm just a complete 10 fangirl, even though I believe I rank him the same as 9... because I've been shaking my head all through the worst episodes.
Also I loved the Master, as well as the season's finale... I must've been looking at an entirely different show or something.
Comes to show that making lists like these really is subjective.
Then again, I think my favorite episode is Silence at the Library, and that's simply because the Vashta Nerada scare the shyte out of me.
I will agree that the Daleks got royally ruined. I went from 'oh balls' to 'oh not them again' real quick after that episode.
How come there's no doctor 9 (Christopher Eccleston) version? you should do one :p
DoctorWho 9101112 Uploaded and scheduled soon!
My Doctor. Some top episodes imo are the girl in the fireplace, Satan's pit, waters of mars, doomsday, human nature, the Christmas invasion, blink, midnight, turn left and the stolen earth/ journeys end
Freaky fever dream is right - I always forget that Daleks in Manhattan happened.
The fact that Midnight only got an honey able mention hurt my soul
just found your channel love the best and worst of series i just subbed do you upload just doctor who and how often do you upload and you talk about being a kid during tennant what age are you your possibly my age or a few years older im 14 btw
The OP plays I was about your age during Tennant :)
And I do a couple things here from film essays but my next 2 vids are Black Mirror & Best of 9th Doc/torchwood so stick around :)
SamyulDavis love the 9th doctor loved the bad wolf episode just annoyed that he had to leave after one season and I'm not in to much so I'll probably just be sitting here looking forward to doctor who videos 😂
Best: Midnight. Worst: Evolution of The Daleks.
Love and monster should be the worst.
EdgyTeenTryingToBeEdgierThanHeActuallyIs its one of my favourites
The Girl in the Fireplace.
you make channel pup sad
Crash Bandicoot That was one of the best ones.
I love Evolution of the Daleks.
The end of time part 1delivers the best set of Wilfred lines though
“The cactus saved us”
“It’s cacti”
“That’s racist”
Bigups the Pirate Loop what a class read
It is SO good. It was like reading Douglas Adams before knowing who Douglas Adams was.
Best:
The impossible planet/Satan pit
School reunion
Smith and Jones
The fires of Pompeii
The Library ones
Worst:
The End of Time
Fear Her
The Next Doctor
The Lazarus Experiement
The Sound of serums/Last of time lords
I know it might not be the best episode in the world, but I kind of love New Earth. It's hilarious, and has some interesting ideas. These ideas could have been explored more, but they were executed decently. Overall, it's a pretty good story, although it does have flaws (that resolution). Come on! It's just so much fun!
Uhhh excuse me why this video is in Dawko's DeltaRune playlist
Fear her has "the killer cleaner" from primeval as an extra, the one who asks the doctor "what's your game?"
Pusher cloned about 100 times . 🤣what a show in its prime
I really like the Series 3 Dalek two parter I don’t know why it just seems fun and also the last scene with Dalek Caan was I thought a great scene
How the fuck is the end of time on the worst list. it one of the best episodes that David tennant even did and john simm was the best Master I love how crazy he was
cool video
the 2 most memorable episodes of doc10 have to be the "waters of mars" and "midnight" some epic acting and writing there.
Hated Simm’s Master til he came back in the S10 Finale. His original couple of episodes were cringy. That character was not The Master.
Well... you got your Judoon back!
10:35 Hang on, you said "Jack, Rose & Eccles" in your other video and I agreed.
However, Donna has such beautiful character development.
The best Tennant episode for me was Blink. Funny, since he wasn't in that one much. But the best two-parter story with Tennant was Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
Love and monsters was the first doctor who episode I ever saw and it gave me a very different view of what the show was actually about
Why is this in deltarune playlist
I thought I was alone hating New Earth
I always refer to Ten as the emo Doctor and Eleven as the emotional Doctor, because it's only with Eleven that I buy his melancholy. With Ten it always feels campy.
The Satan Pit, Rise of The Cybermen, Doomsday, MIDNIGHT. Also Blink. Because it's awesome. And iconic.
Tennant's novels were amazing; I loved The Pirate Loop
Master explored the Doctor and the Master better than the End of Time
'Ive outgrown him'
That's the best I've ever heard someone sum up my feelings for me. I did like Ten at a time, I find it so hard to watch him now though, endless cheese and soap opera elements.
He's still a strong favourite for me, but he struck a CHORD when I was younger, whilst Moffat presented us with 3 more mature incarnations.
DAVIS
I mean no, Smith was a toddler and Capaldi is treated like a baby.
Dobby the house elf? I thought he looked like golem from lord of the rings.
Best: End of Time 2, Waters of Mars, Midnight, The Family of Blood, and The Girl in the Fireplace for my best, in no real order. As for the worst, Love and Monsters, Fear her, and I really cant think of anything worse.
Two granddads in the Tardis. I am so here for that. xD
I hate The End Of Time part 2 as well. I wish the doctor hadn't taken half an hour to die and that he'd gone out with more dignity like nine did.
Meris Sorry. That’s all the stuff I like.
10’s weakness was his human vanity. To him, regeneration was an intensely personal death and not only is that a new idea, but vulnerability is interesting.
Okay I can see your perspective. I know a lot of the fandom love End Of Time
I wish I could meet more of them! It's still just a 6/10 overall though, because that first part is so atrocious.
Last of the time lords doesnt make sense but as a kid it made me go crazy
I love Daleks In Manhattan and Evolution Of The Daleks. I believe it so underratted.
Paul Cornell never came back because the episodes he's credited on were actually re-written extensively by RTD.
RS 1998 Ouch.
I got a Kilt commercial on David Tennant, not even joking.
