I don’t think people understood his message. He never said this cured his acne or that these products would cure your acne. He said when his skin was at his worst this helped repair his skin barrier rather than further damaging it by applying loads of different products. When my acne got bad I brought serums, chemical exfoliants and toners but it just made it worse. When I saw this video I simplified my routine to just a cleanser, a moisturiser and an spf. It was super affordable and rebuilt my skin barrier which didn’t cure but calmed my acne a lot. I then rebuilt my routine and my acne stopped flaring up. Of course this alone will not help all types of acne as it often requires medication or lifestyle changes but it’s definitely something worth trying. He did say at the end of the video give it a try, hes not guaranteeing anything.

Have nutritious food and have sufficient water. This aids all skin types to shine. Do keep in mind these throughout your day.
Celebs often discuss about having at least 8 glasses of water each day for healthy skin. It's a thing you can rely on.
Keep your face clear from dust and pollution. I understand it's not easy, but one have to try.
Clean the face with plain water first, then use some gentle face wash twice a day, in your morning and night. Also, rinse your face with water whenever you go out in your sun.
Use only gentle face wash like litlextra riceberry face wash.
Regularly wear sunscreen when one venture outdoors. It's essential.

Cetaphil products are really good for acne. The first time I went to my dermatologist, they prescribed me to get the foam cleanser. It did help. But this type of products won’t help your skin on the long run. It’s great for teenagers but not anyone who constantly suffers from breakouts due to hormonal problems or other stuff. You need medication and stronger products. But for a starter, they’re good.

I started using the Cetaphil gentle cleanser about 6 months ago, and the acne prone moisturizer from Cetaphil (the one with spf, not the one the guy showed) it cleared my acne within 4 months, I no longer have any active breakout, except 3 or 2 pimples when going on my periods. It cleared all my acne, literally all, however I am brown skinned, I'm left with dark marks, and Alot of them because I have been struggling with acne for a long time. Please don't listen to this advice at all. You need to go to the dermatologist if you have moderate or severe acne. This simple routine can only be used if your skin is irritated by certain skincare products. Also, most dermatologists will prescribe benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin (which is 20 times more potent than retinol) and isotretinoin (accutane) to you if you have acne. These treatments are very irritating to the skin, but that doesn't mean they'll make your acne worse. In fact, they're the most researched treatments for acne and are considered very effective. I used to treat my acne with Benzoyl Peroxide, and i still do for maintenance. It works!

Sorry I'm new and still confused with skin care routine, I only wash with water and done but I want to invest so that I can still maintain my good skin. So now, my question again is why do I see some people use soap bar then cleanser then exfoliant(?) Then wash then moisturizer. I also see some who usesoap bart hen cleanser then exfoliant then moisturizer without washing? Im confused. Also is master deep cleanser really a CLEANSER or a TONER? Kinda confused. Thank you

@@tracesofthesunjingab first of all, it's important to wash your face after using one product, before using another, no matter what kinda product it is, secondly every person has different skin type, in my case I simply wash my face with regular water, with a face wash which suits my skin and then then apply moisturizer that's it, in case of Makeup, we must use a deep cleanser first and then wash your face and apply moisturizer, tbh I think that's enough for a healthy skin

Cetaphil is a great brand that works well for a lot of people, but as someone with dry, sensitive skin I tend to lean more towards CeraVe’s hydrating cleanser and super hydrating moisturizers. I used to really overstrip my skin with high concentrations of benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid twice a day because I thought doing so would fight acne. I now focus more on my moisture barrier and hydration, the complete opposite of what I used to do and my skin is thanking me.

My skin had been breaking out really bad lately and I struggled to find the right cleanser for me. I thought I needed something strong the like ABC tea tree oil cleanser and the Neutrogena fresh and clear grapefruit cleanser), both cleansers worked well on my T zone area (nose and forehead) where it’s mostly oily, but it really really dried out my cheeks which turned out to be a big no no because that only made my acne even worse. I decided to double cleanse with the cetaphil gentle cleanser and use the hydrating lotion at night and it really helped me. I still occasionally use the neutrogena cleanser ONLY on my T zone area if it gets super oily and if there are black heads. Other that than I’m glad i watched this dude’s video. Wether it’s just an ad or not. Sometimes simple is better.

It's mild, smells nice, and all-natural. It cleans my face nicely and makes it soft and bright. Plus, it helped lessen my acne as welll.

I usually just gently rub it on my skin and then wash it off, but one time I tried wiping it off instead of washing it off. I stopped and let it sit there for about 5 seconds and then wiped it off. After that my skin straight away started getting itchy and when I looked in the mirror my skin was irritated and red. this doesn’t usually happen to me but I took some antihistamines and it reduced the redness, and later on it stopped being so puffy, red, and itchy. I usually just go back to washing it off but I don’t wipe it off anymore

Ok this is my update i used cetaphil for about 2 months , the small bottle lasts about a month and a week so in total i buyed 2 for those 2 months .
I have an Oily skin and a pimple forms in my face like afters 2 days that's how prone i am to pimples .
I say that this helps to keep my face somehow feels smooth and bouncy . It even brightened my face . Everytime i used this i feel like my face is fresh .
Let me say this kinda work for the first 2 weeks but its INCONSISTENT . My pimples started to comeback often on week 3 and its sad . I really thought this is the answer but yet its still aint .
This is probably just a face cleanser and brightener not a product to mostly wipe out all your pimples .
I still use mine today but im planning to buy cerave when i empty this bottle i REALLY HOPE CERAVE WORKS .
This is maybe cringe for you buy acne ruin my life ever since 1st year of highschool up until now im on 11th grade .

Cetaphil and other mild cleansers are best to use if you want to get rid off acne without drying the skin, as overly dry skin just like oily can both have a big effect on having break outs, but it wont be able to clear your skin from acne alone, using an anti acne medication will. After using a mild cleanser, use a medication like benzoyl peroxide to clear your skin from acne, make this as a daily routine and yes it works. Based from experience actually my derma recommended it to me, on my end I used Physiogel instead of Cetaphil then after I applied brevoxyl benzoyl peroxide.
