I have the same strap. I prefer it to the BoBoVR because I prefer the Mohawk top strap as opposed to the little tabs on the BoBo. The one negative is it won't work with the aftermarket wide facial interface.
You forgot to answer the most important question, did they fix the battery buzzing?

Not every time, but once in a while it would make a very faint buzzing only when the battery was under 10%. It was so quiet that I wouldn't notice until after I took the headset off. Hope this helps!
can you use AMVR facial inteface with this one?
Yes, I do.
I'm not 100% sure as I don't have that facial interface. But others are saying yes you can!

Does it make a buzzing nous near the battery?
Not every time, but once in a while it would make a very faint buzzing only when the battery was under 10%. It was so quiet that I wouldn't notice until after I took the headset off. Hope this helps!
So did the battery actively charge the quest 3 while in games? Or was it just slowing the discharge?
Some games it would slowly charge while playing. But in most games it would just discharge the KKCOB battery instead of the Quest 3. So after 2 hours the external battery would be dead, but the headset still at 97% or wherever you started. Hope this helps!
