Would you ever widebody your car? Let us know! Don’t forget to check out wheels, tires, and suspension over at www.fitmentindustries.com
Fitment Industries YESSS, rocket bunny kit for sure on the Subaru BRZ
I don't have to.
My MK2 Supra is widebody ready!😂😂😂😂
Joke's on you my car don't have any kits lol
I just picked up a clean ‘92 MkII Jetta for $200. I’m pondering ordering the Voomeran kit for it and swapping in a low miles 24V VR6 I have... should I???
Widebody for my Maxima lmfao I'd give it a try 🤷🏾♂️
but rust is free weight reduction
True 😂
Not when you get to much rust and inspection deems your car unsafe

I have never had issues installing my cardboard widebody on my 1995 toyota celica
I got a 95 Celica GT, but now its time to find someone to restore the body before I even think of widebody kiting this
Me: thinking about throwing a widebody on my car
Fitment Industries: posts a new vid about widebody
Me: *thinks it’s a sign from god to do it*
insert shia labeouf *JUST DO IT*. did this to my base lancer. looks far better than stock.
Me too. God hath bestoweth upon me to widebodyith my carith

Audi: has the beard
Audi owner: has the widebody
Can’t grow a beard, can’t install a wide body yet here I am..
RIP Thank you! 🙏🏼 😅
Same I’m Mexican with more Native American blood than European blood in me so facial hair said nope😂
Biggest mistake a friend made widebodying his miata. He used a saws-all to cut the fenders and it bent them all to hell from the vibrations. He also didnt paint the parts he cut so within a month every fender had rusted through. One panel had a hole above the widebody panel and you could see his coilovers.
Saws-all for body modifications, great idea!
Rookie mistake when doing anything to your car: Not checking Fitment Industries YT channel to see if they have a rookie mistakes video on it 😂🤣
FACTS!!!! 🙏🏼😂
😂😂It took me 2yrs as a subscriber to release you guys are based in Appleton just 4 miles from my house
I literally slapped my face in.
Well surprise fam! 😂
Rookie mistake. Installing 90mm rear quarter panels and not having a fuel neck extension so you can't fill up at the pump 🤦♂️
The answer is always Miata. Fuel door is on top.

funnel?
How does that even happen
Measure once cut twice, am I right?
Measure twice, but still end up cutting twice.
rookie mistakes number 2 when installing a widebody: adding negative camber.
on point!!
Excessive camber
Hammad Ali anything more than 3.5 of negative camber on a wide body is definitely a mistake
Idk why ppl do this😭😭
don't do it yourself.... it a 3 man job....
I rear wide bodied my C63. It needed it, the rear fenders were puny. It took me about 3mths taking all the care in the world to make the cuts, rust proof, set up suspension, figure out wheel travel and get a set of custom offset wheels that sat flush to the new fender line but travelled up and down without clipping anything. I measured like 20 times and cut once, and now it looks (to me) perfect, totally OE but 50mm wider each side. The conversion is moulded but the kit hugely strengthened and I have had zero issues with it. If I need to maintain it over the years then so be it as I didn’t do this to fit in, I did it for me on a car that I doubt I’ll ever sell. Performance wise I only have good things to say, as it grips, finally. I’d say to anyone who is keeping their car indefinitely because they love it, do it!
I was thinking of doing flares on my upcoming project, but it seems it’s more unique to NOT widebody/flare these days.
Completely missed out that the body underneath needs to be welded up as the sheet metal within the rear quarters can be structural
I love how you guys showed Robbie, that’s literally the best thing ever I’m so happy🥺
My first time ever going wide was with a beaten up frs that I daily drove. The amount of care was so little, didn’t test fit, didn’t tape anything or figure out what else was needed. Took an angle grinder to the fenders and went crazy. Wrapped the fenders in under an hour and took a drill, some sheet metal screws and sent it. It’s a good thing I had no love for the car because I could fit a finger between the v1 front fender and my stock fender in some places. Looking back I’d do it again, the car was only there to do horrible stuff to anyways lol
First problem is having a stock engine with a widebody. Also having a rivet one
Alex Strömberg you don’t want to mold your widebody unless it’s metal or polyurethane. Fiberglass or carbon kits are a nightmare when you mold them. It’s fairly brittle by nature and will eventually crack. When it does, instead of just pulling off the panel and fixing or replacing it, you have to crack it off, sand down the area it was molded, replace the whole panel, remold the entire panel, then repaint the entire thing rather than just a single panel. As someone who’s dealt with it, I’m never molding a kit ever again
@@zerohourdrift there's still reverse mount. no molding, and no rivets showing.
in my case, i did not encounter any problems with lancer wide body kits on stock engine. i went for plastic kits so it's lighter than FG and almost the same weight as stock, probably even slightly lighter. FRP fenders are lighter than stock fenders though.
@@vaynelevant thing is, you get a widebody when your tires are too big.
@@zerohourdrift you ofc weld it on you moron. Wtf would you else do?
Should do a video showing a few different ways and most recommended way to install kits. I know some people just cut out the fender and other cut strips and bend it, etc.
Makes me rethink everything/: I don't want any extra noises on the car
Thanks for the video
Just the video I needed 💯💪
i love the lowkey roasts between custom offsets and fitment industries
Going to be doing this over the winter
1:40 Alex is a legend, his interests are right where they're supposed to be; Halo, and cars
Currently running 18x 11 on the rear of my FD about to do over fenders on it ... perfect timing fitment industries
Accidentally swiped to this while watching another vid. That loud beginning woke up the baby lol...nice vids though man.
Would it be a good idea to buy stock body fenders before installing a widebody? In case you muck it up and want to return to stock? I feel like it'd be smart..
Do auto body shops install wide body kits or is that something you just have to figure out yourself?
imo i leave body work to the professionals unless you've got a friend who's already done these before
thank you im trying to learn some of this stuff. I saw someone cut and then didnt put anything to stop rust. Thats and ooof.
Great video. As cool as it may look. I'm gonna stick with the stock body on my car now 😂
Wow, you’ve mentioned runescape and red vs blue?? I have to subscribe now I love this guy and all their info
Would it be aight and look any good if you choose to wrap a body kit? (after install and adjusting taking off the kit wrap it up and install again)
what wheels are those gold 5 spoke ones in the background top row
Make a video of the best plug and play engine swaps. Like this comment so they can see it
Damn, great vid. Seems like a lot of work!! P.s what are the gold 5 spoke wheels behind you? They look sweet!
I haven't even done my flairs yet and you already got me laughing 🤣..
Hello, quick question why do you have to cut the bodywork to install the kit? I don't see what the point is. THANKS 2:13
Nice! Happy to see Robbie’s clips made it in
Absolutely, That's fam! 🙏🏼
So should I do the widebody first and then do tires and suspension? Or is it the other way around?
3:13 wtf he said my name i thought he was talking to me 😂😂
Thinking about it for making a track monster
What’s that dark bronze spiked wheel right behind your head?? Is it available for Subaru’s?
We should start calling widebody cars "Bearded Cars" cause every man looks better in a beard.
Does Fitment Industries install wide body kits? If so, Im looking for the Rocket Bunny install on my HR 350z but there is no one in my area who I can find to help me.
On Houston which is the best shop to do body kits cause I’m trying to install one to my 370z
Gave you a thumbs up just for the red vs blue reference
What websites would anyone recommend for a body kit?
what kit is on the thumbnail
im 17 and bought a m3+ bodykit for my coupe e30, any tips and or prayers
I'd like to make custom ones for the 93 S10 I mention in most F.I. and Custom offset video comments. Lol but there isnt much anymore that is kind of modern in the realm of my truck but i have ideas. Been looking at the E30 M3 fenders for inspirations but uh... I cant weld or fab so... Yea... Lol and finding wheels and tires in the custom sizes i want are so hard to find 😭 I wanted 5x120.65mm/18x8.5 wheels with 30mm offset, 245/30/18 tires, buuut apparently that size isnt a realistic one and my front sway bar makes wider wheels impossible up front. Especially with the 4/5in drop kit. The wide body would allow wider wheels on a wider offset but as of now I'll destroy my inner fender and tires turning.
What's the beat in the background called??
hey man which watch are you wearing?
I need serious advising about wide bodying my 2017 honda civic exl, 😔😔 idk where to start
One day Alex is going appear with a legit Viking beard and it will be either:
"10 rookie mistakes when considering hair transplantation or beard plugs"
or
"So Alex has a beard how did he get hell to freeze over pigs to fly and send us all to the upside down to float forever"
Personally I'm super excited for Alex to get his beard and can't wait for hell to freeze over flying bacon and the floating spores.
Background beat goes hard
Do you guys do custom wide bodies?
I just read your comment... it’s for a sn95 with a Vader 1 kit
that new intro clean thoo
Rookie mistake: widebodying a car and then not realizing that the car can never go back to it's stock form unless you buy new fenders/panels/body parts smh. I prefer to stick with mods that I can undo if I need to.
Thank🕺🏼
2004 RX8. my flares are set to arrive next week.
Got my sub when you mentioned red vs blue
Do you sell the wide body kit
i want to install a wide body kit on my e92...... but its only a 328i :'(....... but only because it'll be slightly more expensive than repairing the damage on the quarter panel :''''(
That shirt is sick
Can anyone help me with finding some overfenders for a 2013 corolla s, I've found a few but they don't have that rocket bunny look I want, can't find the ones people are using anywhere, plz help. I can't grow a beard so I wanna grow a widebody
Oof a Rosterteeth reference? Now I want to see a colab
Maybe a video about rivets vs fiberglass install
Just wondering if you go to 0:00 on the video what’s the wheel on the top row on the left second from the front called ?
Klutch KF!
I didn't take out enough fender and after welding all the tabs up and sealing, i took for a drive and realized i rubbed going in / out of driveways. Had to start over.
I'll grab a roller and roll the wheel houses to achieve a somewhat unmodded look to keep it discreet.
*been looking for body kits of any kind for the toyota corolla 2018*
So far, nothing at all. Not a single thing of any kind. So what if it's not a performance car, or fast.
I just want my shit to look cool. What's wrong with that?
Let's not forget the most rookie mistake, once YOU wide body your car, you can NOT revert it to its original state, unless you go through a lotttt of work
Bro, it's not that hard, just buy the fenders for around $1,000, and pop them back on with Nuts and Bolts from the factory. I don't like the thought of cutting into my car, but since I'm already throwing away my fenders, and installing aftermarket ones on, I might just go ahead and cut them. My fenders only cost $215 for a pair on the front, and $800 in the rear.
It's actually just as easy to go back lol it's just metal bud
red vs blue
Could you put spacers
I have never seen a classic mustang with a wide body that actually looks good 😭
Do reviews on the e90 generation of BMW’s
What is the make/model of the bronze five spoke wheel over his shoulder?
KNP from Kansei! Check them out here! www.fitmentindustries.com/store/wheels?sort=popular&brand=Kansei&wmodel=KNP
That res vs blue reference brought me back
*I'd only go the Varis, Voltex or Garage Mak, route, if I had a 86, Evo/STI or S15 for example. All make widebody kits that are actually functional AND look good as well.*
I'd go to Veilside if I had an FD! 😎🔰
Yes, these are real widebody kits!
No *bolt on* fenders...
Proper widebody kits like back in the day!
Some people even made custom kits, all nicely molded in, shaved etc...
👌
They aren't functional untill you have the proper engines mods.
can I still put on a widebody without buying 3 pieced wheels and it'll look good? Cause I aint in the mood rn to pay 6 or 8k for wheels
instrumental name ?
i love that they used a clip of robbie ferreira for this
would but none for sedan version of my car
7:09 is nobody gonna talk about that purple frs,brz or gt 86
Notification squad 🔥
If you get like some sort of silicone and lay it on the lip of your kit before fitting it’ll reduce the vibration
What should I look into if I just want to make my front end a little wider?
Some lowering springs! You will more than likely need to upgrade your shocks as well!
What wheel is to the right (your left) of your head? The bronze-lookin wide 5 spoke one.
Kansei KNP's check them out here! --> bit.ly/2kGXkM8
Yep, sounds like im getting this done at the bodyshop by someone with experience 😂
Ayy rvb is noice👌
Who is the owner of the yellow evo?
Shoutout to RVB!!!
So I’m getting a rocket bunny kit for my 350z So what offset would I need for my rims , I want the wheels to be aligned with the fender
So you ordered stuff without having a game plan... makes sense
What is offset
What's the first wheel two Alex's right on the bottom row
Konig Ampliform! --> www.fitmentindustries.com/store/wheels?sort=popular&brand=Konig&wmodel=Ampliform
What’s the rim that to the right of his head? That rim clean
Klutch KF wheels I believe you are looking at!
Problem is i got an 08 nissan altima sedan so yea no widebody for me😱 plus its my first car so my mom and dad wouldn,t want me to drill and cut on the finders
“I see you Charlie” lol
