  • Hello Everyone,
    +This is a start-to-finish watercolor painting demonstration in real-time. In this video, I cover intention, interpretation, design, formatting, composition, values, drawing, perspective, etc. The overall subject matter is how to work from sketches and memory rather than from reference photos.
    +The scene is in Greece - the Temple of Apollo Epicurius in Bassae from about 450 BC. The original sketch I did on-site from a visit there many years ago. Sketches can have value for years. They record more than just what it is you look at and rather, what "you see" . They record your experience, your initial creative impulse.
