KEEP SLINGING THEM DISCS!!!
#DiscGolf #Challenge #BrodieSmith - Sport
What should we call this series?
Pro vs dreamers
Pros & Joes
keep it simple. brodie VS the world. and its something you do in warm places in the offseason.
you need a camera man and editor for the series though to make it epic.
Brodie and the Homies
Average Bros Disc Golf!!
I really love seeing park courses. I can actually see everyone's shot instead of guys just chucking them into the woods and saying "not bad. that should be a putt"
Was pleasantly surprised with this course.
Baylor, Erik, Richard, and Robert let’s goooo!
Those are four awesome dudes right there!!!
It’s actually really cool you’re doing this with amateurs Brodie.
Hopefully these guys learn a lot and better their games.
Baylor have some really smooth throws. Very interested to see what you can do with that! And the other lads too of course, love the series. Thank you!
Going to be awesome!
Awesome vid! Great job to each of the players, way to throw that analysis at the end, get some self reflection on performance. Keep throwin' and keep at it!
Glad you enjoyed!
Love this series. I could see this being an awesome project for when you hang up the pro tour hat. Have your own Brodie teaching tour.
Awesome idea for a series!! Love seeing relatable feedback from a pro straight to us average disc golfers!
Very cool. Enjoying the heck outta this Series.
Great series can’t wait for the rest of the videos
Finally a pro play against average players. Just wish Brodie would come out to western New York, I’d like to get a round in with Brodie at either como park or bond lake.
Love it guys! Thank you for this series, it is epic!
This course looks ridiculously fun. Great video. Love the concept and execution. Please make more of this series
Very cool round! Looking forward to the next video!
Filming today and will be out later this week
We need more of this type of video!! Playing with the local is pretty awesome!
This is my new favorite Brodie video. Loved the interaction and support you gave those guys. More of these please.
Yooo Baylor’s my best buddy from high school! Used to play art dye park in Utah with him a bunch
Great job guys!
The pressure of playing on camera and in front of a real pro is no joke!
Series name ideas:
"Thrown Improvement"
"AMped Up (with Brodie Smith)"
Oh I liked AMped Up
Noice!
Fellas you did well for your first round, looking forward to the rest of the series!
Has another pro ever done this? Man this is really cool. Kudos Brody and congrats to the lucky players. This has gotta be one of my favorite DG videos I’ve seen all year from a CZcamsr
Literally Champs vs Chumps without Nate Sexton roasting everyone. I'm all for it though. Really nice seeing the disparity between regular people and pros.
Uli did it one year with a single player.
Great round fellas!!! so many good up shots and overall solid play. so much fun to watch, all around good guys!!
Dope 4 guys!
We got a solid group
Pro’s and Joe’s in real interaction is awesome!! Great work Brodie! Hell yeah Joe’s show up and show out!
All 4 of you guys are pretty good. I think Brodie will have all these guys under par by the end
That’s the goal!!!
My favorite part was “I forgot my roller, so I’m going to throw my halo roadrunner” lol
This was great. Guys seem super chill
This was an awesome video! Seemed like a great group of people to play with. Bravo Brodie! Definitely my favorite video you've made. I love the connection you're making.
Brodie, I'm 1 Minute in, and I already LOVE where this is going! Dude, this is genuine content, and as a player and fan of the sport I definitely want to tune in for more like this. Time to finish this video.
Is there going to be a follow up video(s) to this? Lol
It's been a month...we're all really wondering about Robert's progress! 😂
Kidding about Robert but season is almost here and enjoyed the idea of this. 🤙
Really love your videos. Especially since you took these 4 under your wing sort of. Would be freaking awesome to even be on the same course as you let alone play a round. Your too awesome
Looking forward to the series and seeing how everyone progresses
That’s my boy Erik 🤙🏽
You should call em the four darkhorsemen
Superfun concept! I'm really looking forward to seeing the rest of this series 🙂
Good job to all the guys too. For coaching tip, I noticed some of them have pretty severe anterior pelvic tilt when they're throwing (leaning over, hinging at the hips with the butt out and then swooping the upper body around from the thorassic spine and up), which robs them of both distance and control. Fixing that would go a long way towards lowering scores, I think.
For sure! Thanks for the comment!
Series Title Idea: Amateur Ambush: Brodie Smith's Disc Golf Challenge
Yea so the series is me training these 4 AM's to get better. I don't think I did a good job explaining that.
Good break down of the putters and what they do and how they do it.
This was a lot of FUN to watch! "Fun little course," says the big man! That course is challenging with lots of elevation changes, greens, bunkers and yes, low ceilings. 😁 Looking forward to watching the series! The only one I know personally is Rich so have to root for him! Good luck to all the fellas though and enjoy your lessons! (PS I left a 136 Innova SIdewinder deep in the tree of 16... 🙃
You should have these guys caddy for you in 2024. Love the series!
The Brodie Vegas Final 4
This is a cool idea for a video. Really shows the different strategies for different skill levels. Also, I would play the shit out of this course if it was near me.
This is the only course I’ve played out west so far
Great content guys
baylor lowkey has the goods. really liked his game. if he tightens a couple things up he could be a real killer.
He has a very high ceiling. Excited to see what he can do this series.
Really loving the content & your so awesome.
Glad you enjoy it!
I really am. I love watching you play.
@@rickybrown2281 I can't tell if the CZcamss is glitching like it does or if y'all are just having fun.
Brodie I NEED ANOTHER RUN OF THE JERSEY YOU ARE WEARING!! I Ordered one but it was canceled because they sold to many 😭 I planned on wearing it in the swamp for the fuse game and had to get a different shirt.
I don't think they are sold out on brodiesmith.discraft.com
@@BrodieSmith well that's annoying. They canceled my order and said they were. Just ordered it. Thanks and go gators.
Will there be an update to this series soon?
Going to be a short interesting journey to see where the improvements are going to be seen! Everybody good luck!!
LOVE this. The players just need tiny tweaks to their form. Their upshots are decent. And definitely 1000 putts every other day will help with their C1, C2 putting.
good video idea :) I'd call the series "Beat a Pro" or "Could you beat a Pro?"
Brodie, being from Rochester NY, I'm not your biggest fan. However, this series is excellent. Thanks for the entertainment. And boys? Great work and playing.
Have you done Mountain Crest yet? (Lone Mountain and Durango area in Las Vegas). Or Peccole?
Richard and Baylor got that dog in em
What’s the etiquette when you tombstone a disc in the green? 😳 oops
Just repair it the best you can
That is a red bird!
Red breasted finch possibly
How do I watch this series? Thanks
I know none of these guys called you out...but this should prove to those 800 rated loudmouths on twitter who think they can just beat you playing disc golf that it wouldn't be much of a match.
In addition to dg skills, feel free to give them some pointers on setting up for and videoing shots 😊
First time on video, I think they did great
Ayyy Baylor made it!
Great group🤩
We had a great time out there!
@@BrodieSmith It shows! I think that’s what makes good videos. Keep killing it with the content man!
That "red" bird is a Vermilion Flycatcher.
I like what you are doing Brodie!
love it!
Going to Vegas at end of January what courses do you all recommend? I’m thinking Wildhorse n LV Municipal but where else is worth it. Thanks
That might be it
@@BrodieSmith Sunset Park decent?
decent yea
Hey don't sleep on peccole! It's our only "woods" course 😂
Mouse Rat!!!
Scarecrow boat!
18:42 little psychological warfare disguised as a funny anecdote. I want to see if Rich's game starts to fall apart with this little nugget lodged in his psyche 😅
I'm impressed, Rich had a few bad throws right after this but recovered pretty well. Good mental game, Baylor was pretty solid as well
Come to Italy!
They weren't bad on up shots. I think that saved a lot of them.
Their upshots were awesome! Def a strength in all of their games except some don't have the forehand
Good play for being on camera and with a pro.
Curious to see what he shoots course record is 11, and many top pros have played this course. Also this is awesome, great idea!!! Edit: great score for first time.
Where did the Buzzz OS drop? I can’t find them
They drop tonight at 7PM EST at brodiesmith.discraft.com
Its pretty cool to see consistency convert to low scores. Obviously Brodie has power and some other elite parts of his game but getting 7 strokes better than the guy next to you when you all *can* throw 300' means you are more consistently in C1/C2 and more consistently hitting putts and it becomes almost simple as that. I play with a guy that beats me by about 5-10 strokes per round and some holes of ours we look very similarly skilled and others not, its about getting rid of the "others not" which is probably hours of practice. Excited to watch the series because seeing other ams helps a lot for an am.
Shit I just missed it. That course is alright. Come play Mountain Crest!
Brodie, I noticed a few drives where you went with a massive hyzer instead of a lower straighter shot (or a slight turn over shot). What’s the reasoning? (I’m a novice and just curious)
Hyzer is a more consistent flight result then trying to turn something over. Since he can lauch the disc, he has the power to hyzer bomb 300+ft holes.
This just in, after several years on tour, brodie is a couple strokes better than an uncoached amateur. Lol, keep working fellas
We have different definitions of a couple haha
Nice
richard needs to throw anything else than roller to fix his shit fr
ROBERT!
What happened? Abandoned these poor little tykes?
😂
Bro . Yo hyzer game is on
Hole 3 what was he shouting out?
Yea call it "nice"
Sandbaggers
Alright.
No forehand dominant players dang.
Will be doing group lessons with everybody a few times a month. I know Trace will be there who is a forehand dominant player. Why were you hoping there was a forehand dominant player?
Looking forward to those group sessions!!!
@@BrodieSmith I want to see how a forehand dominant player stacks up against backhand dominant players at higher levels. I’m a forehand dominant player myself just nice to see others out there 👍 hey brodie is western New York ever a stop you have in mind?
And now they all have herpes 😂
Brodie has cold sores ...
What??? You don't even invite me. Brian mf-er sage??? Dude. Imma find you before dglo. I'll take the week off before dglo and meet ya on a practice round and play ya for 100. . I'll lose a 100 to play ya for your content for talking crap.
These guys are all better than me, but Richard and Baylor are gamers 🥏🥏
