- I got the new and highly anticipated Tech Disc in the mail! I unbox it, get it set up, and test it out for a couple of throws. This device measures disc speed, RPM, wobble, hyzer angle, nose angle, and launch angle. It ran me $430 Canadian but it was totally worth it!

Yeah I wasted a couple days from the 5 days I was able to borrow a Tech Disc from one of my disc golf friends. It took me until day 3 to really start working on things, and by the time I finished day 5, I realized I could make changes to get different results, but I needed a lot more time with it to iron things in. It's a great tool, but it definitely needs to be used properly and consistently to get good results.
Right? Yeah if you have the time to really work on things it’s an amazing tool! I’ve found even since I filmed this video I’ve figured out a lot of things. It’s way too cold and snowy to try to implement anything on the course but the numbers don’t lie haha!
About what is your starting distance in field work that corresponds with those numbers starting out?
Putters: up to 275
Mids: up to 310
Fairways: up to 350
Drivers: consistently around 400 with good throws.
Did you have to pay any duties getting it shipped to Canada or was it just the price on their website?
Surprisingly just the price! Totalled to $432 with shopping
