- We love the CT, but we know there is no such thing as the perfect car, so here is our 7 things we hate about the CT.
Thankfully most of these issues were fixed in the later model years, but there were other Lexus cars around when the CT came out which didn't have the same drawbacks as the CT. Other issues just relate to cheap cost-cutting by Lexus. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I have a 2013. I just hit more than $300,000 miles! Have original engine and transmission. Original batteries too! Love this car. So talk about the pros too.

what about soundproofing?
Ground clearance in this car is very less.. Every time when you approach bump it is hitting hardly.. How can you fix that?

I've bought about 5 bumpers from them on my Lexus cars, and now help out with sales in New Zealand, purely because I was really happy with their service and was happy to help out. Am I missing something with this car and that you can't fully recline the seats back. They only recline backwards limited. 10:52 10:52
What year is this model? What year did they address the problems?
This is a 2012 - the first facelift was 2014 where some of these were addressed, the second was 2017.
I have a 2019 F sport and majority of what you say has been addressed

My question to you: How much would you have liked to pay for all the features to come on the base CT200h? Would you have been willing to pay an increased price for those features? I would guess that you would have then told us that it is too expensive.
3 things:
1. I’ve had a long history with owning multiple Lexus cars, and my list here is cognisant of what was standard on every other Lexus that existed beforehand. This is not simply just an optimistic wish list, this is based on knowing Lexus’ lineup and what is standard equipment. Do you really think no cup holders, rear seat vents etc. is asking too much?
2. I purchase in the used-car market and the costs of what I’ve mentioned won’t really trickle down after the car is bought new, so doesn’t really affect me in that way. But more importantly, the items I’ve mentioned actually cost nothing. These are not huge improvements to expensive technology and features that will really affect the cost. These are incredibly basic things!
3. This is a luxury model, that is only missing the sunroof and the ML system, so my additional gripe is that even the highest spec CT doesn’t even come with those features, let alone a base model.
Also not much for safety features like lane assist, parking assist, sonar cruise or panoramic sunroof are my big gripes on mine on top of those you list
Our model has park assist and radar cruise, and lane keep assist was available in later model years. I was trying to consider what options were available and which ones should be standard etc - hence why I didn't mention those. Panoramic would be nice! But Lexus has been very slow with panoramic roofs.
Nobody needs all that nonsense. I managed perfectly well in the 80s without it. Drivers should be relying on their own skill, not going off what the car is telling them. We will end up with a nation of bad drivers who dont observe whats going on around them, and I see plenty evidence on the roads as it is. I can just see someone on the motorway, drifting across the lane into another car. Accident happens, police come and driver says "It was the cars fault for not having lane assist". Give me strength.
Basic level Ct. Get the Fsports or Premier and it has it all

Haha yeah I think that's where the F SPORT should give you that but the non-F SPORT should be softer, like all the other Lexus cars.
If you slate the car so much why drive it .
Think about the context buddy. This is a video about the negative aspects of the car. That's the point of the 'hate' videos. It's not a review of my overall impressions, it's just the negative aspects of the car. There will be a x many things I love about this car coming soon. Just because I've listed 7 things I hate doesn't mean there is nothing to love about the car that doesn't outweight what I hate.

You need to say the year, waste of time.
Ummm, there's only 1 generation of the CT so it applies to all years? The ones specific to the pre-facelift say 'pre-facelift' next to it.

you paid entry level price for a entry level lexus, and want all top tier features.......
So you're telling me that a rear seat arm rest, rear seat cupholders, electronic seat adjustments, infotainment interfaces, and better switch gear that comes in every other entry-level car are top-tier features?
