This guy is down to earth, not like those other channels with pretentious guys who think they are very stylish and only tell you to buy overpriced clothes.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@@maisoncayson4542 reset password maybe lol
youâre right on point
I actually found this guy more helpful not to say this video is bad just found the video below to the point and nothing about brand names. czcams.com/video/QGn8E7JfZJQ/video.html
Love how the title says âstill works in 2021â like it was gonna be patched.
Patch 2.0 is leather pads on tweed elbows
But does it work in 2022 ? That is the real question
Trends change and some things that seem unchangeable often fall out of fashion
As usual another great video. No shouting and in your face ads, just simple real style tips that actually work, which Iâve tried. Thanks Brock, always a fan
You mean like alpha m? That dude is very loud!
Keith Maysles he is but that works for him and I do watch his stuff too, I get good bits from him as well.
Brock is my therapist that helps me come up with coping mechanisms for anxiety while dressing.
Excellent advice, Brock. Slimming down the closet is something I try to do with each change of season. It not only makes more space, but it also helps me to know what I have. My goal is to be ready for any occasion on short notice.
Great content man. I was just on my couch when I instantly realized and said to myself âI should really start dressing in a way thatâs both fashionable and matureâ and came across your CZcams channel. Your website really makes it easier with the âlooksâ gallery you got. Awesome đ
Can you make a video on what to wear when it rains? It's about to rain a lot, but it's really hot where I am, and I'm trying to figure out good combinations
Good idea!
@@BrockMcGoff Thank you! Yea, I'm at college, and since it's hot, I don't want to be wearing pants, but then it'd be weird to wear rain boots with shorts, haha.
Shirt/t-shirt. Shorts
Sandals
Get a big-ass umbrella! The biggest you can get your hands on! So huge you can fit like three people under it comfortably!
Clare Grant how interesting! I'm from Seattle and it rains quite a bit, but it's rarely hot and raining! May I ask where you live?
You hit the key concept early on - reduce, simply and define before you look to fill the gaps in your wardrobe. Dressing well is a discipline and working through your wardrobe is the first step towards maintaining that discipline
Hey, thanks for keeping things positive. A lotta folks who get into menswear can kinda use it to get judgey towards folks that don't follow "the rules". But, it is important to remember to have fun with it, and let folks do what makes them happy.
Well said!
Great tips. Fit is king. I started tailoring and it changes my life. Better shoes also took my style up a notch.
Another home run video, Brock. Saving this in my âStyleâ playlist. Less is more, for sure. Iâve been donating items that donât fit well which I donât care to get tailored. Iâve also been reducing the amount of colors in my wardrobe. In addition, Iâve stepped up my shoe game, no pun intended.
This is the content I wanted! I'm changing my whole wardrobe since I lost a lot of weight and got into fitness and nothing fits right anymore. I don't want to keep wearing t-shirts and blue jeans since now I'm confident enough to get in style. Thank you so much for your content!
You're so welcome!
Excellent video! Spot on with all 9 tips. Good stuff Brock!
i absolutely love the outfit at 4:36. it's casual by definition, but the way the outfit is put together, it still looks cool and stylish and doesn't scream casual. the fit and the colours work very well tgt. and yes, your hair did look better then than now. cheers!
Love my cuff bracelet. Though for a while I did fall into the too many accessories catagory, thanks for the reminder!
Amazing tips! Wish i knew these when i was starting to get into men's style. This is some really solid advice. Keep on the good work!
Love the new haircut btw ;). It really suits you!
Hey Brock, Iâve been watching your videos for awhile and I love them! Definitely one of my favourite CZcamsrs. Could you please do a closet tour? One of my favourite CZcams videos ever was Hueguhs closet tour. Thanks and I really hope to see this soon!
Thanks! Good suggestion, would love to do a closet tour.
Yes ... We want to see your closet !!!!!
Tyler Gowan I agree!
Simba Hueguh is a CZcamsr ( one of my favourites if not my favourite) and he did a video of him and all his clothes. Highly recommend checking him out.
NiceâŠ.I somehow stumbled my way into the foundational start for my wardrobe. Have dark jeans, khaki pants, multiple shades of blue, grey, and green shirts (all muted colors, nothing primary in color), chelsea and chukka black, grey, and brown boots, a black leather and peacoat, then black and multiple grey color flatcaps. Ive always told my wife that I just wanted a wardrobe that looks clean and classic, but I should be able to go in the closet in the dark and grab items and they will all go together. Glad to hear that I havent taken a hard left turn. Muted, simple, and clean colors do not have to be monochromatic.
Brock you've done it again! Keep up the good work.
Amazing content as always
I love that hairstyle man!! Solid content, keep it up!!
Love this video! very helpful and systematic.
As always great style advice, Brock!
Another Great tip video, would love to see more office wear, trouser shirt, no jacket looks...
Thanks MMđ
Very useful, I really really love it !!! Thank you so much !!!
Great tips , loved it đđđ
Looking good mate, looking gooood and great vid as well!
Well done Brock. I bet this video tool a while to make. Lots of solid info.
Great video, thank you đđŒ
Very informative and helpful. Thanks.keep the good work
You're literally making points that I've being arguing with people about my whole life thanks man your hair Rocksđ
Great Video!
GREAT VIDEO
I just discovered your content and I'm hooked.
I'm looking to completely revamp my wardrobe and your videos are EXACTLY the style I'm going for THANK YOU.
Peace â
Wow, these tips are actually good!
Dude. This is a great video. I've been wanting to learn how to start dressing better but haven't found a channel that felt like it fit my style. Really enjoyed the video and noticed a lot that appealed to me. New sub here man. Excited to check out more.
Thanks for this đ€
Great video man. Really helped me in deciding if I wanted the Secret Lab Omega chair, since I've been on the fence for a while.
great video Brock. thanks for doing this. Outstanding !
Thanks for watching!
You working so hard for us. I appreciate your work... God bless you brother...
Thank you for these tips! You gained a subscriber my friend!
Straight to the point!
Asian short college student~ Gonna start my journey with the help of your vids!
Nice, just ordered a Top Coat from Peter Manning. I've heard great things. Can't wait to see for myself.
Very informative video, Brock! Well done. I'd still like to see how long all your hair is in the front with no product, all brushed forward.
Most CZcamsrs claim to be the guy that this guy actually is!! Truly a modest man!
This is everything I wish someone told me 15 years ago. Follow this simple advice, and you'll be the best dressed guy in most rooms. Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!
Here's the clothing alterations guide - www.themodestman.com/clothing-alterations/
I think this is the best advice I've seen which suits everyone in broad terms. Well done, it's a shame more people don't give some thought to how they look for their own self esteem.
Thank you for this video! I'm a 20-year old female and I want to educate myself about men fashion because I know nothing about it. This video is very helpful âĄ
Great tips bro !!đđđ
Brock lives up to his YT channelâs name. He doesnât just look modest, he also dishes out modest, sincere avuncular advice/suggestions, not shoving things into our throats, I mean, that Peter Manning ad was seamless. :D
1. Fitting
2. Wearing fewer colour
3. Wearing fewer patterns
4. Find a taylor you can trust
5. Upgrade your shoes
6. Add an accessories
7. Remove an accesories
8. Learn the dress code
9. layering
Thank me later â€
The hero we need đ
@@BrockMcGoff wasn't coco Chanel a nazi agent in France ?
@@djzrobzombie2813 does that make what she said (about clothes) wrong.
@@aquibahmed766 that makes it slightly gaslighting
Good video. Thanks.
Simple but great tips.
Solid tips brother!
You rock bro! Thanks!
I have to set aside the budget for higher quality clothes!
Solid content.
Found your channel lately. Really love your content, especially all those on building a minimalist wardrobe.
Love from Indiaâ€
Thank you đ
Becoming my favourite channel on CZcams, keep it up mateđ
Thank you, will do!
Thank you!
Great video, Brock!
Thank you, sir đ
New subby baby!đâ...you Got the Jim Morrison hairstyle going on....Groovy!.....it suits you...âđ€
Nice video, thx
Your hair looks good !
Nicely done. This is a guy whose advice I'll listen to.
Embrace a style that works well for you . I have the body of a mule slim fits were not the answer and I have recently given up and have gone back to the functionality and comfort of classic baggy workwear.
Your advice is always impressive.....so true..it's a marathon and not a sprint.....have a blessed day.....
You too!
Those are cool color tone neutrals that you listed. Warm color neutrals would be maroon, olive, khaki, brown, rust, mustard, camel, wheat. You have a co skin tone so I'm not at all surprised that the ones you listed are your colors †btw I'm trying to teach my boyfriend some basics as he got a promotion into an office position and I have learned a lot myself in the process!
Brock and Tim the power combo!
Really loving the hair
Hey Brock, thanks so much for the helpful video. Do you know what pants are being worn at 2:06 or 6:20? I love the slim taper look and want to get something similar.
great vid Brock!
Thanks, Khoi!
This channel is a masterpiece
Great tips, Brock.
Thank you, sir!
Great intro music đ
6 years ago, I ditched the printed t-shirts and bootcut (ripped) jeans. Now, I just rock:
1/ for casual wear: a henley or t-shirt, a pair of jeans, All Stars or Superstars, and a simple black jacket - rain repellent, puffer or leather, depending on the weather
2/ for business wear: a polo or shirt, a pair of jeans or chinos, desert or Chelsea boots, and a pea coat. I can also wear boots and the pea coat with a casual outfit.
In both cases: no pattern (never was a big fan), desaturated colors, A LOT of charcoal items. And I always add some contrast between the top and the bottom item. All this works pretty well - in the morning, I don't spend time figuring out what goes together anymore...
I'm probably not the best dressed man in the room, but I'm certainly not the worse anymore :) I wished I could have watched such a video like 15 years ago!
Well done Brock, cheers.
Sounds like youâve got a nice system down. Well done!
Cheers, Alessandro.
I've been taking out patterns as much as possible. My dress shirts are staying solid and usually if I am going to buy a pattern it will be my dress pants because I can always match them with a solid shirt.
I saw one of your video 2 years ago about H&M polo shirt under the comment someone says underrated chanel đ actually it is not I like your videos hopefully we hit 1000000 subscribers keep it up my friend regards Nash
Cool video, Brock đđŒđ
Thanks, Eric!
Liked the referee analogy.
Great hair!
I m glad, find your channel đđ
Really helpful, Can you do 2022 edition? :)
I am a guilty of the accesories because I always wear my gold chain because I never take it out and a watch everyday but then I want to wear a ring and bracelet !
Do you, bro. As long as youâre comfortable with it and you think it looks good, wear it. I accessorize a lot as well, at the moment Iâm wearing three rings, one on my left ring finger, one on my left index finger, and one on my right middle finger, a watch, two rubber band bracelets, a silver chain, a beaded chain, a long belt, earrings and my glasses. Theyâre mostly all very small so you donât even notice unless you really look, but it still brings some interest and dynamics to the fit. As long as you are confident youâll look good.
Love your hair in this longer style.
New Look.. Very Nyc,đđ
where do you get your cuff bracelets or what would you recommend ?
Iâve always had a problem with tshirts. Theyâre either too tight in the chest and perfect everywhere else or they fit my chest and the arms flare out. Itâs caused me to avoid tshirts and Ive always just stuck to button-downs. It sucks because my job makes cool tshirts for us like once a month or more and the small is too small after the first wash and the medium is too big so I can never wear them to work like everyone else. I finally found a random T-shirt at Goodwill that worked for me a month or so ago though. It was an Urban Pipeline Awesomely Soft Tee, which is like a dirt cheap young adult brand from Kohlâs. The price is definitely a plus, but there are only so many colors I can buy (and I literally bought them all after I found out where to get them). It really just feels like a bandaid though. Iâd like to figure out what I can do to make more shirts fit me off the rack. I donât have man boobs. Iâm not fat at all. I just have a muscular chest so it sticks out a little bit. Iâm 160 and 6â0. Has anyone here had a similar problem and found a solution to it?
"Great style is like a great referee. It might go unnoticed but it doesn't make mistakes"
That's my new excuse to dress up.
Love the hair, wish mine was that wavey, but we tend to want, what we dont have.
As an Asian with wavy hair, I want straight hair.
I would love straight Asian hair, not to be racist but Asian hair I feel has its own properties, especially for spiking, lol getting into SJW territory
Bro I wish I had hair đ đ€Ł
@@MrConminer getting there, myself. Lost so much volume in the last time due to hormonal parathyroid dysbalance, that I am contemplating a real short buzzcut. But the 19 cm scar from brain surgery is quite shocking foreveryone lookingat my head, so I am hesitant. Shortly after the surgery I was told to stay home, from complete strangers who did not want to look at my battle scar.
@@NickUncommon woa sorry for my language but wtf that is just plain rude, harsh an unneccesary. I know it is easy to say but rock that buzz cut, no matter what other people say, thats how I delt with my thinning hair, ik it's not quite the same... just do it brother!
Hi Brock,
I recently subscribed to your channel and I have to admit that as a female, I receive good tips by you as well. Thank you Brock, Danielle
I appreciate that!
a decent scarf can be a great layering piece (tip#9)
Ahhh! A true gentleman you are indeed sir! đ
Is that Brock or Finn Wilfhard?!? Unreal lettuce buddy loving the salad.
man i fucking love you, since i found out about your channel a year ago or so, you rock,to the point, and give great tips. i have a problem just with upper body clothing(t-shirts, shirts and jacket). its always a bit bigger than me even when it's small, can you please tell us where to shop those (beside peter manning), or some other tips please?
Nice video
I love the olive green pants you wear at 2:06 - where are they from?
Cool hair!
Oh outfit archive I worship thee
Not kidding u looked like jake Gyllenhaal from nightcrawler in the thumbnail .(great video btw)
I have alot that i dont wear and dont want, but i cant get rid of them, my mother (im a teen) wont let me not wear them. Honestly, im glad that i finally get a bit more freedom in my clothes, and its worked wonders, but i still have those under armor shirts and super baggy jeans in my closet that i cant donate or throw away
