Do people really look at what someone is wearing

There's entirely too much hype over the engagement ring, if you ask me. Honestly, I don't even want one. I'd rather have the bigger focus on the every day married life, which is, to me, what the bands are. What do you want every day to be like? What do you want to wear every day?

Thank you. I was about to return my 8 inch shorts and buy 9 inch ones because I felt too exposed at work today. Nobody at my factory job wears 7 inch shorts; their shorts cover their knees. I'll try them one more time before returning them.

We purchased an Ooni about 2 years ago, after a long time of wanting one but not justifying the money. Totally worth it, we don’t order take out food in the summer now and ‘pizza party’ in the garden is a firm favourite of the kids. Paid for itself in the amount of good food, plus family garden memories made 🍕

I only wear a foot lball jersey during the season and the player has to be older than me . Otherwise it’s like being the girlfriend.

I was in agreement on all 10 counts, but then I've been around the block many times. I learned to buy the best cotton dress shirt I could afford. A well-made dress shirt will last for years, garner compliments, and make you feel more confident each time you wear it. Money well spent.

I sold my Pepsi, mostly because I found myself introduced to a "full mouth dudes club" and was relegating it to the shelves too often, to see I was wearing other watches that could bring interesting conversations about it, not just how much the watch was valued, and also most people I knew who buy Rolexes were just dumbnuts that only knew Rolexes as a brand, like a movie cliché. Now I found myself better equipped with a Seiko, so only people who like watches would perceive it, and not talk about watches as (fake) investments. I mean, the Pepsi was a great piece of hardware, I was proud of it as a personal achievement but added to the robbery risk, it had to go.

For frames, other than Warby Parker, I suggest Akila. I own three of their frames. They're stylish and well made, plus I always get complimented on them. I also like Caddis and Moscot.

Honestly for shoes I'd say just find what is most comfortable and provides what you need... everyone has different feet, stride, etc. I generally try on 7-8 different pairs at the store and see how they feel at different angles, different landings, etc.... I'm a mixed bag of power lifting, bootcamp, running, obstacle courses, etc.... I wear a pair out then it becomes my everyday I don't care about shoes... then it becomes what I wear for yardwork a year later or so. I've had amazing luck with deals and randomly have had incredible shoes that lasted forever that I got for like... sub $100. Though the best shoe purchase deal ever was I was friends w/ the manager of a Broadway Shoe Store... he gave me a special one time handwritten off manager coupon (maybe 30%... maybe 60%.... no clue, this was probably 15 years ago).... I found a pair of New Balance that felt perfect. It was ~$175.... on sale for ~$130.... and then got them for like ~$60. I don't remember the exact numbers but I ended up getting it WAY off. I've stayed almost fully New Balance only after starting cross country in some Nikes screwed up my knee.

Couldn't agree more: I stopped wearing one when I was about 11. I'll admit I'm a little unique in that I was lucky enough to play both Australian rules and rugby league at a level where I've been team mates, friends, and really known guys who played AFL & NRL (2 national leagues here). - For the record, I was only ever what you'd call semi pro in the USA, so not big noting myself... They were either on the way up or basically retired from that level. Anyway, sure they're amazing athletes, but they're still people! Almost all were great guys, some were jerks... Just like any group. Point is, maybe this is why I don't get the hero worship, wearing the Jersey, etc...? I get the sense of community wearing the colours to a game, and maybe if I had a kid who liked the same team I did it'd probably be nice to both wear them to a game, but as a middle aged man? Just couldn't do it. I love my NRL team, but my "throwback" is for wearing at home and nowhere else!

I'm not sure what audience you're trying to reach, but I find your list antiquated. I haven't worn a watch in twenty years - I look at my cell phone. I haven't worn a suit in twenty year either - I keep one in the back of my closet in a bag so I'll have one to wear in my coffin. Ties and pocket squares - geez! You must be kidding. I care more about comfort which is why I will continue wearing V-neck tees until I croak! One good thing about being old, 60, I stopped caring what people thought about me, especially in superficial ways - I have better things to do and it's none of my business!

I find at least where I'm at in Ireland (and when I go abroad to the UK) there is a clear cut case for smart casual shoes. Alot of bars and pubs will require "dress shoes" to be worn for various reasons but obviously if I'm standing up in a pub for several hours I'd rather not wear something more comfortable. Thus these boys. They're perfect for that job which is why I like them.

Look yall i love ankle but bro it does get annoying wearing them all the time. Some days i gotta take a break and slap some tubes on for the extra fabric and warmth plus more support in my opinion. Ankle socks dont even fit in alot of my shoes because its so small. At the end of the day people really do need to get more ankle its awesome personality just not something i could wear everyday its ok to wear both.

Feel ya on the sports. Don't get it, happy it's your thing, don't expect it to be everyone's as a qualifier for being a dude. Also agree on the hybrid dress shoes... In a boot style maybe? But even then, just get a boot. And a breathable fabric suit for sure. A - Just have one, unless it is a work thing that is probably all you will ever need. B - Don't just buy one off the rack that matches the numbers for your other clothes, those are always wrong. C - Off the rack is fine, get it close to fit, then take it somewhere to have it fitted (ask someone, preferably someone who isn't related to you or the department store person trying to sell you the suit for help with colors/patterns if you are unsure. If yer at a dept store, try the make-up counter for an opinion assuming those still exist). D - Stop looking at me, C is the most important one on this list! You ever go to any formal event and see those dudes that look they are in their thirties and still wearing a suit they borrowed from their dad? You look like that too because you skipped C and don't realize that no suit is actually made to fit a human male, they have to be adjusted and a decent tailor is worth every penny. Plus, they can take it out when you get fat if they know what they are doing. E- Every man deserves to have one nice, tailored suit. It will be like donning a suit of armor, you will feel like a million bucks, and literally nobody looks worse for wearing a suit that fits (again, ask for help with colors/patterns).

This was hilarious and mainly spot-on. I think I wanna add selvedge/raw denim to the list. I was convinced to buy some raw jeans recently and they are ridiculous. I literally couldn't get my feet though one pair without putting on a pair of silk dress socks and then I couldn't pull them above my knees. The other pair looks like gigantic rectangular chimney stacks that noisily rub together. Friend said:" But bruh the fades are gonna be epic." I don't care about the intricacy of fades on my pants. I also think drag queens should stop wearing tiaras. In other bad jewelry decsions, stop having your dick pierced and waving it around the locker room like it's a drumstick without a drum. I've also lately noticed a trend with t-shirts and hats lettered with words about poop and farts. Please flush those away. While I enjoy seeing comically colored socks on young guys, I hate seeing older men like my doctor not merely wearing them but pointing to them and asking what I think about 'em. I think they are so old and have been washed so many times that they are covered in loose threads that make them look like discolored pscyhedelic shag carpeting from the '60s. (Edit: It occurs to me that silk dress socks are stupid too, but I unearthed my pair in the hamper where I throw stuff bound for Goodwill.)

Great video, Brock, Im definitely going to look into better orthotic inserts. High quality kitchen knives are always a worthwhile investment, in my opinion. I love to cook, and the difference in sharpness, balance, and edge retention from the japanese knives Ive bought over the years has really made even more exciting to get into the kitchen, even with the added maintenance. I really suggest finding a local knife shop to help you find the right knife and steel for your needs! Im also currently in the process of upgrading my bedding from the cheap stuff Ive had since college. I sleep hot and so Ive invested in some Canadian made linens, and so far the difference in sleep quality (and sweat) has been immediately noticeable.

40mm divers work quite well for my wrist but I also like 36mm or 38mm dress watches.
