If the MOIs are not paid well, KMPDC should be asked to review the roles of an intern and advise the government accordingly. If they deem the interns as students or equal to other interns of BA, law, political science, engineering etc....then the interns shall assume the role of students and be available only from 8-5, no night calls, no weekend and holidays reporting to work.
How broken the healthcare system shall then be! 1 billion shillings for interns isn't too much to ask. This push has to persist ... Medicine and Surgery practice shouldn't be political at all, or else we shall have failed as a generation in the history of this country.

Ayub please when illiterates are running the country earning millions they won't like brilliant learned people closer to them even in terms of earning.Simple question Parliament was closed, most offices were closed even travelings were stopped worldwide,it only Drs who were on duty 24hrs daily trying to save Kenyans lives, with all the risks even teachers and schools were closed, now people should ask themselves why Drs are demanding for their rights and they have all the reasons to be treated with utmost respect for risking their lives for the citizens of this country to be healthy thanks

Well spoken Daktari. These politicians need to know that Kenyans are tired of being taken for rides. Ichungwa is busy plotting to upgrade the presidential jet while Kenyans are suffering.

The CBA was to expire in 2024. Haikuisha na uhuru. Na ilikuwa implemented hadi wakati ruto aliingia.
Halfu, hata mtu akikuombea mabaya, unafikiri Mungu atajibu maombi hayo ya kuwaumiza watoto wake? La Hasha. Hata madaktari ni waumini.
Na mnasema 70k ni nyingi, kwani mnathani hawa politicians wanapewa ngapi. Hata madaktari wanasema ile pesa wanaitisha ni the same as "entertainment allowance" ya hawa wanasiasa
