I am so happy to see Lionel in a good place mentally. I am rooting for you!
I respect this man so much. I found this video quite heartbreaking, He is so transparent and humble and gives so much to other people in the form of information and learning, this is why he’s respected and popular. I think you’re amazing Lionel, I want you to do so well and so many other people do too. I hope you get some rest. You’re amazing, you deserve it all. ❤
This Vlog Series was the greatest content you guys have ever produced. It so rare that us mere mortals get to take a peak into the world of professional triathletes. It was really awesome!
I guess people relate to Lionel and deeply appreciate the content, because at the end of the day this is how everyone 's life is - a rollercoaster. A fight. A series of ups and downs. This IMO is the true inspiring image of this man - although he's a man like you and me and occasionally struggles, he comes back to conquer. Thanks for everything, LS. You are the man!
Never quit. Best media in all of triathlon.
Win or lose, you're motivating triathletes around the world. I'm not fast but I'm getting better than I was yesterday! You have inspired me to push past my comfort zone. And my thresholds have grown and they continue to grow. I enjoy your channel so very much. And you are a world class athlete! You have become one of my favorite triathletes to watch.
You're the man Lionel. Not because you're a champion, but because you're humble, give credit to your team, and always looking to improve, being transparent, and being real about your performances, training, and the way you're living life. Screw those who are harsh, let's see them get on the course against you. Much love to you brother!
There’s nothing on CZcams I enjoy more than watching Lionel ❤️
The only thing you need to think about Lionel is how many people you inspire and encourage into triathlon and exercise every day from your videos and how many peoples lives you make better from that. 🦁
LS you’re a LEGEND! Please do this series again at another race next year. I’m so inspired to want to make it to Kona and the world champs now. Don’t ever stop
I was not expecting for Lionel to be in such a good place emotionally after that race. Great perspective! Thanks for letting us in on your journey!
It's been 30+ years since I did a triathlon and this video series is one of the things that have inspired me to get moving again. I think it's been a tremendous documentary, anchored by a guy who is brave enough to express who he is and put his heart right out there where we can see it. Bravo.
Phenomenal series. Phenomenal recap. That video is why Lionel is popular, not because of results. Great job Talbert. Thank you Lionel.
Vlog series was outstanding. Some of the best content you've ever done. Might be the best. Glad to see Lionel in a less heartbroken headspace than I was expecting and good to see him motivated. Hopefully he gets a good off season with the wee one. Congrats!
LS, admittedly I was super nervous to hear your thoughts on the race and everything in general. My man, I am legitimately proud of you for staying mentally strong and maintaining this productive and positive outlook. You have inspired me to be a more active person, elevate my trail running game, and push myself physically/mentally to places I otherwise would not have gone to. I’ll miss the Kona daily vlogs, but looking forward to what’s next. Rooting for you and the whole crew and fam.
Brother, I'm close to 40 and have gotten in to marathons and triathlon 6 years ago and the it's your videos the last 3 years that have motivates me to keep training. Even on days when I have long days, because my career puts a lot on my plate. I love endurance sports because it relieves that stress. And your words and drive is what pushes me, let me know that as long I have air in my lungs I can compete for anything. Lionel, you are a true inspiration and no matter what I will always route for you. Thank you for sir and keep pushing those limits.
Super proud of all your efforts! Definitely could be too much hard training- you have the grit to push yourself when you need to, but you're older now and recovery takes longer. More recovery leads to more peak performance days as you get older.
Still my fav! Let's make it happen, Lionel! You can do it!
I was admittedly nervous for this video. So happy to see a positive outlook. Best wishes for welcoming Baby Sanders!
Great job Lionel. Hard day for lots of people. Glad you are in a good place… rest well!❤
