Thanks for making this video and re-thinking going to law school. The job market is terrible now (I'm an attorney & actually worked for a law firm in San Diego one summer as a law student). Law school tuition is ridiculous-- even bottom tier private schools are charging over $55k a year for tuition. Please take a look at my videos about law school being a bad idea. Wish you the best of luck in your career path!

Good for you, friend! My sister started medical school at 26 and is crushing it! Top % of her class. Time and growing up is good for graduate schools :)

I am a law student,and have been lately regretting not doing medicine , I think I really wanna pursue medicine now 😭😭
Oh wow! I honestly think its never too late! Maybe by the end of law school you will feel differently though and be grateful you stayed with law, but if not I saw pursue what you feel most passionate about!

I literally decided to do the same thing. The LSAT and the overall process made me change my mind but I think i’m gonna try the PA route.

As poli-sci undergrad what kind of jobs were you being offered at law firms? Were they firms that did lobbying? I have been a lawyer for many years and never heard of this so I was interested when you mentioned it.

Hi, I am an incoming sophomore and a poli sci major/pre law at UCSD. I haven’t gotten very involved and not know what organization I want to join. Would you be able to suggest some organization that helped you with pre law? Also I really liked your story. Kudos to for following what you really want and not fearing change.
Adventurous 101 hi! Thank you for reaching out! So I believe that UCSD has 2/3 different orgs on campus that are Pre law specific and a few other that help with public policy and international law, like the “model UN.” I would recommend joining the political science UCSD fb if you can, bc they often post about the orgs and clubs on campus and when they are meeting! It’s the best way to stay involved in all things Poli sci & pre law bc you can pick and choose!🥰 hope this helps and gl!
