Thank you and Mike for the interview. I'm always impressed by his openness and persuasiveness. The Belcanto is very well priced here in Australia, too. None of the dreaded 'Aussie tax' we need to put up with. If only it was an hourstriker (at a higher price). Great interview, great watch.

Try dealing with their support or bad ordering processes and you'll realise it's not so unbelievable.
This is one of the most interesting and attractive watches I've seen _at any price_ ! _What happened to my socks?!_ Yes, they've been completely knocked off! The sound is so wholesome and I'm sure it sounds even better in person. I also love that they did this complication as a module for the SW200. In the words of Steve Ballmer: _"I. Love. This. Company YEEAAAAHHHHH!!!"_
Yep, it was hard to keep this under wraps for the embargo to be lifted.

They seem to have sold 200 or more of the release on day one. Some will no doubt come back under 60/60 but if you want one move quickly.

Not just an incredible looking watch, with a very cool complication, but at a truly unbelievable price. It is taking every ounce of strength I have NOT to whip out my credit card & get this watch.
Ordered one - maybe one of the final ones but I managed to get in! Deliver is going to be early March 2023! All good things come to those who wait :D

Some watch this. I thought I would sleep on the blue dial. I did not make the same mistake with the green dial. Pre-ordered for July 2023, I believe. Lol

Mine is ordered in purple. Don't tell my wife. Not only would she not approve of the purchase, if she sees it she might steal it from me.
almost pulled the trigger but their instagram manager can't be bothered to respond to queries on the delivery date despite replying to many others so now it's gone 3 months further (even though I must say it's still unclear). I am sure they will do well regardless but if this is sadly not the kind of experience I want from a microbrand (yes, I know they aren't really considered a MB these days)

CW are known to have one of the best customer service departments in the business. Look it up online. Mike didn’t even know when they would ship and he is the CEO.
why not? it's not that they didn't reply to anyone - they replied to everyone else. a watch is an emotional object. to take your response further, are you then saying that you would buy a watch if it was super nice even if the maker was an arse that addressed everyone as f***wit? there are many great watches out there these days and I'd like to think that customers are more than entitled to certain expectations. a simple "sorry, we don't know" would have been more than acceptable.
You're expecting an instant response on Instagram during an extremely busy launch day. They have probably been asked about the release date 100 times before you asked it.
I wouldn’t base my decision on buying a watch I wanted if the company replied to my Instagram message or not. Different departments likely run social media.
Do some research on how good their customer service is.
To each his own. As I keep saying, but you keep skirting around the point or just choose to ignore it (much like how the company did so for my comment, so maybe that's why you can't see any issue with that hurhur), they replied many other comments, just not mine. This includes comments made after mine. It is quite clear to me that this was a conscious choice. There is therefore a mismatch between their renowned customer service and how my comment was handled.
It is my viewpoint and I understand why you are defending them, seeing how the CEO spoke to you. It must be nice.

What is the win here for you. Your denying yourself an amazing watch, a true horological marvel because you feel slighted by whoever is monitoring their instagram? I can tell you it will be an external company managing their instagram, it won't be anyone involved in their customer service or any of their management team.
Christopher Ward is a large independent watch company not a couple of enthusiasts assembling watches in their garage. They are by far the best watches I have ever reviewed in that pricerange.
I came real close to buying this. Filled out everything on the website. Put in my credit card information. And I thought maybe I should take one more. Look, my problem with this watch is plus or minus 20 seconds. A day, 3750 dollars, and every 3 days. You go cook cookie off a minute. That's ridiculous, and today standards to me. It really is, it seems to me like you took a movement. That's probably the cheapest Swiss woman in the world. I believe this was what AGM t movement. That's been modified, so basically. I'm paying thirty seven hundred and fifty dollars to hear ding 12 hour
Pretty impressive stuff. I won't buy one as I only like the blue and unfortunately that's no-longer available. I hate limited editions. Just make them available to all. Stop it with the Omega "limited edition" nonsense. It's effing madness that the two most popular colors of blue and green aren't available in the common run. They just have these effing weird purples, baby blues and copper ones. They do have black, but that's a bit boring for this watch. Bring back the blue and green! Madness.
We did a livestream with Mike and he explained the reason why it’s limited edition. They physically can’t make them on mass.
