is this an outcast 6s? im having problems with mine..when turning on the controller then the esc it is not connecting with it. It doesnt even make those sounds for the lipo cell count. called my Local Hobby store and advised to bind it but just wanted to make sure these are the correct steps
Hmm, i think its weird that there is no Lipo Cell count. New binding could help but I am not sure either. Its worth a try I think. Just make sure that this video is the correct one for you. As far as I know, the standard Outcast comes with a SLT3 Radio. This video is for a DX3 Radio.
@@robertmelendez3482 The reciever is a bit different in this video, but the process is the same. So, you can give it a try. If it doesn’t work and the ESC doesn’t make any beap noises, it would be possible, that you have got a damaged ESC or battery. But good luck, I hope the binding process will fix the problem…
Oh wait I figured it out. The receiver was hidden in a waterproof case that the ESC is on top of. For context, I have an Arrma Vorteks 3S. As you might have guessed, im new to the hobby
@@kellysooth602 oh, thats no problem. You found the way how to do it, thata great. One of my friends owns a vorteks aswell, and it is an awesome car. I hope you will have fun wirh it. 👍
@@Scootbreezy23 The Vortex is a super fun car in my opinion. The only problem that my friend had was that one shockshaft bend. But after half a year of driving it, thats not really a problem. Its an easy fix. All in all this car is really tough and fun. So I would recommend the Arrma Vortex for sure. You would have a great time with it! 👍
@@gerardbarrios3425 Well, actually the procedureis quiet simmilar. The reciever in the vorteks is located under the ESC. So you have to open the reciever box. The vorteks uses a dx3 radio, so thats the same. The reciever is different but it also has a bind button.

@@elimatus yes the radio is a dx3 smart radio and the receiver is a SR6110AT

My smart spektrum doesnt have a bind button…
Do you mean on the transmitter or reciever? And which spektrum are you using? I will do my best to find out how to bind your transmitter and reciever.

I am following ur steps and mine will not bind. I have the DX3 and the SR315.
Much appreciated!
Will this work with the dx3s?
Well if it has a bind button, it should work the same way.
@@elimatus Hello how do I link a arrma vorteks 3s with the control?

It won’t bind I tried it’s not binding right
Hmm, do you use exactly the same equipment as me? Cause if you use a different reciever for example, the procedure could be different.
