    Commodore.. I just want to say as a fellow Yugituber and love of the Earth Machine deck, this profile deserves much more recognition than it has gotten so far.
    You have done a phenomenal job showing off the deck and explaining the cards. You have also shown a more unconventional approach to playing the deck. I've tested different strategies, shown several profiles on my channel and have tried to innovate since aerosolTCG created the dozer control deck several years ago.
    Needless to say you have inspired me to try new things and I'm very thankful for the time and effort you put into this. Keep it up my friend! 😁

      Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me to hear that! I truly appreciate the kind words, and if I can inspire even one person in their deckbuilding then it's all worthwhile!

      Listen I've been toying around with an idea I want to run by you first.
      As mentioned before I was really inspired by you and your deck list. I really like the going second approach to earth machines and I believe that you have nailed it.
      I want to showcase this deck on my channel and would like to give you full credit of course. I will also give a link to your video and channel as well.
      In my opinion it could be good recognition for the both of us. Let me know your thoughts before I proceed any further with this. Thank you!

      @@SacredCards. Hah, I'm flattered!
      Well, it's not that I'm completely against you showcasing this deck as-is, but I think it would be cool to see a slightly different take on it and to see how you might do things differently (even if it is "heavily inspired" by this deck). Having two videos profiling literally the exact same deck just seems a little redundant.
      I've put a lot of time and effort into it, yes, but I'm sure there are some perfectly viable changes that could be made! You might want to try using more train/rank 10 synergies, or actually running the Road Roller (which I'm not doing), or something along those lines. Like I said in the video, the Crab Crane and Outrigger Extension are sort of my "pet cards," so that's a couple flex spots right there.
      Play around with a bit and see what works for you, I think it would be more meaningful that way. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

      @@CommodoreCards well I appreciate you getting back to me on this. I will take the inspiration and work on my go second version of this deck. I think that idea really got me most. I love the idea of my opponent setting up a board then literally running it over with a train. Great stuff my friend!

      @@SacredCards.For sure! I use this exact deck in Master Duel, and I gotta say, it was extremely satisfying to mow down my opponent's Floowandereze board with my Superdreadnought the first time I hit Diamond!

    interesting deck profile and strategy. wow.

    What do you recommend as a side deck, by the way, good video.

    • @CommodoreCards
      @CommodoreCards  Před 3 měsíci

      Thank you! Unfortunately I can't help you there, since I play mostly on Master Duel and there's no sideboarding on there. I'd say just sideboard in any meta-hate you need. Maybe some Droll and Lock Birds or extra backrow removal if necessary.
      One thing that really stops this deck is Nibiru, so a single Nibiru of your own and some Crossout Designators might not be a bad idea. Honestly you could get away with a whole package of random disruption cards and some Crossout Designators. That's probably what I'd do.

      @@CommodoreCards Good idea thanks

    The ratios for your deck are somewhat poor and cause anti-synergy (e.g. heavy forward at 2 in a pro infinitrack strategy, urgent schedule not at 3 in a blind 2nd deck). I personally lean heavier into the machina side of the deck, as it raises the combo potential significantly with ruinforce/earthslicer and Qliphort Genius. Genius also combos well with urgent schedule and can disable faceup cards.) People also run a single irradiator to fix dead hands caused by unclaspare.
    Of course, this doesn't affect your skill as a player. Deckbuilding can be complex. And at the end of the day, it's your deck and you make your own choices so take my criticism with a grain of salt.
    On another note, maindecking droplets are perfectly fine, since they can be used to counter droll & lock bird when going second. Most people don't know that. But adding a card through card effect let's you use droplets on resolution and by sending a monster, your opponent can't chain droll because as turn player, you have priority. Droll stops your turn, so knowing this trick is invaluable.

      @CommodoreCards  Před 3 měsíci

      I've actually found that having 3 Heavy Forwards or Urgent Schedules is too much, 2 is perfect. You never want more than one, and this deck is full of so many things you CAN do that you never need to rely on a single strategy. At least you can discard a redundant copy of Machina Redeployment to another Machina Redeployment's cost, so 3 of those is fine. Of course, having multiple strategies could also just be chalked up to my personal playstyle. Someone could certainly lean into one or the other more heavily if they wanted.
      Qliphort Genius sounds good in theory, but in practice I found that it absolutely never works with Urgent Schedule that way I would wish it would. Nobody lets you get that far, and if your Urgent Schedule is resolving anyway it's already a "win more" scenario in your favor. If you start with Urgent Schedule and your opponent lets it resolve, they're probably already done for.
      That's an interesting tidbit about Forbidden Droplet, I'll need to keep that in mind. Not that Droll shows up too often in Master Duel where I play most of the time, but it's cool that you can play around it that way.

      @@CommodoreCards You're correct about Genius. I mainly use genius because I run Ruinforce and I always go into the ruinforce line if possible. The ruinforce line is summon genius turn 1, summon earth slicer and ruinforce. Use Earth slicer to blow up both earth slicer and ruinforce on the field. Then trigger the effect of ruinforce and citadel. To revive citadel and two banished machina monsters, the two monsters being gearframe and unclaspare into the link arrows of genius. That lets you search a train with the 2nd effect of genius which ends on dora, sargas and regulus. But you probably knew that combo.

      @CommodoreCards  Před 3 měsíci

      @@creepygamercom No, I've never done that myself, but I also don't use Ruinforce. I guess that's the thing about Earth Machines, they work together so well in so many ways that there's a lot of stuff you can do if you want!

    Can you please post a list of cards somewhere so we can read them off instead of having to run through the video and try to remember everything?

      Unfortunately, CZcams likes it when people spend time watching videos. I do go over every card and the quantities thereof, so the pause button is your best bet.
