Same. I have a home gym that have the same equipment.
This was a PF in Canada. Not America. And the Franchise did NOT decide this or make this rule guys. These gyms are owned by 1,000’s of different people. Each Owner makes their rules such as this one did. Only certain things a Franchise Wide. I promise you, the 2 PF in my town, owned by Two different people. But neither one allows Men in Women’s Restrooms/Locker rooms. Each owner can make different rules such as if they stay open 24-7 7 Days a week, or only M-F 24-7. One of them has different hours than the other one that is on the other side of Town.
Two Planet Fitnesses, Two different owners, Two Different Hours and many other differences. You guys need to at least have better facts. This was a completely different situation than Bud Light. The PF Owner who did this should be Boycotted 100%. But hurting other owners who had nothing to do with this dumb shit and don’t have those kinds of rules is like being Lefties.
I’m almost positive it was a Planet Fitness in Alaska, so not Canada, America. Not sure where you’re getting your information from.

i went to my pf gym and they would not cancel my contract and for years they have said sure just let us know at the front desk and we will cancel anytime but after all this they wont now...

I have zero issues with my PF in Florida.
Every place has this weird training they do now. Panera has some funky stuff to. Dont eat there, they didnt tell anyone they switched from fresh bread to frozen. I was the guy let go during the change.

Haven't been in a PF gym since 2009 but the "Lunk Alarm" was the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
That fking sh*t there made me cancel my membership and I haven’t wasted my time in a PF since. Thankfully my current employer has a pretty good gym in the premises so I can get my workout in there without any issues because you’re subjected to the same rules in the gym as you are at your desk so people don’t go in there to cause problems out of fear of losing their job.

Correction - they didn’t make a gym for everyone to use because they have never allowed lifters like bodybuilders to be at their “gym”.
I get that this video is based on something slightly different, but Planet Fitness has always been a woke place to get people who don’t really want to work out much to get a membership and then barely come to make money. It isn’t a gym for serious lifters to lift at.
