Nice video just upgraded my Garmin’s with Navionics Vision + love the Shaded Relief. Went to the triangle reefs in Virginia this past weekend it kept us right on the ships we were fishing . The detail was excellent and the fishing was great 35 Black Sea Bass before the weather started to change. You are going to like it . Keep up the good videos love them!!

Nice man, that will be a game changer. I use the relief shading on my Garmin to find good offshore trolling areas off Stuart Fl.

I had that and the best that Garmin offers and now cmor and cmor is by far better. I have been offshore fishing for over 50 years and CMOR is game changing. I will try to send you a couple of screen shots from my simrad if I can

Unfortunately CMOR doesn’t cover my area as much the Platinum+ chip does.

Good video Rodney! Nice to compare differences. Would have liked to see the detail update zoom in more on the NW places just to see what actually is improved but for sure will have more detail and update to any changes. I have Navionics Platinum+ also and will renew in a few weeks. Are you saying they don't support any more updates? If not, that stinks. I also have a CMAP Enhanced that shows good detail. I display the different charts on the different plotters and get advantages from the differences. I really like the CMAP and thinking to upgrade to the new CMAP Reveal. Seems they might be gaining some advantages over the Navionics, but can't prove it yet.
CMAP is owned by Navico whereas Navionics is now owned by Garmin. Most likely you already know that. CMAP has made some great advances.
CMOR not up here yet, but is very expensive comparted to either Navionics or CMAP.

Question sir, I have a Simrad in my Bennington Tri-tune boat. When using the chart, the depth contour lines are black and the background is dark blue….very difficult to read. How to change the background from dark blue to something more readable, like grey or something with more contrast. Thanks, Brad

you should network your machines. love the tutorial.

They are networked via nmea. But since I have radar and Sirius weather, I could not network them via Ethernet. Unless I get a NEP.
