Hello from Australia. I have been surfing the CZcams videos on maxi scooters and this is the best review so far on the BMW C400X. Ego tells me Kymco AK 550. Reality claims that the BMW 400X is all I really need for our express ways & light touring. This video may be several years old but has helped my choice the most. A very honest & informative review.
I loved the BMW but I couldn’t bring myself to drop the extra coin after seeing everything the Xmax has to offer for the price.

Thank you for the good, thorough review. Especially loved the on-ride videos with the clearing of traffic lights. As for the glove compartment being tool small for stowing a half litre beer can, you could probably fit one .33l can in each compartment and thus even have more beer in the house!🍻 🤘🏼

Great review! The scooter is great but that small trunk is a dealbreaker. The competition (x max; forza et al) has much more storage space.

No electric screen, small storage, with options too expensive. So many better scooters to choose from.

I am 6' 3" 34" inseam and I'm cramped on BMW but that's why I bought 2023 Xmax for only $6299 out the door price .....this China made BMW is not worth the price !!!! My Xmax is faster more nimble !!!! With plenty of room

The C400x is bigger, more modern and a lot nicer to look at. But you may think otherwise.
Congrats about the presentation! Unfortunately the BMW presents a very expensive thrash scooter.

Sadly this is so expensive than its rival Yamaha xmax 300 with the same top speed of around 130 to 140 km per hour. Hope bmw improved on this one and take a look at their rivals.

I'm 6' 3" 210 lbs and 2023 Xmax 300 has plenty of room compared to BMW and 4,000 less!!!

Not the only vehicle, look around in the cars' world. ;-)
I think they design the engine so that it is not too speedy and powerful. Scooters are made for moderation. They're not motorcycles.

Honda Forza 350cc is cheaper and better. It's more reliable than the BMW for a start.

They including motor and every part is made in China. After parts are made they are shipped to BMW owned Loncin Chinese factory 🏭
Why does BMW have the entire scooter made in China without telling anyone ?????
Does everyone that drives a scooter have the mentality that they can just by pass every vehicle at a stop light? Seems inappropriate, especially in a review video.
Here in Hungary it's legal! For more than 10 years. For example in Italy the whole traffic would stop without this possibility. :-)
It's customary and legal in some places. In some places it is not. It's the same with motorcycles. it depends on where you are riding.
If you hate that so much why dont you get a scooter then you wont be waiting in traffic anymore .....
It cuts down on traffic queuing, it’s a good thing.
In the UK you’ll fail your motorbike test if you’re not capable of filtering through traffic. You’re not legally obliged to ride to the front past stopped cars once you have passed your test but you are obliged to show that you can do it in your test and riding instructors will prepare you for the test accordingly.
I CANT STAND UNDER SEAT STORAGE AND IT HAS A SOFT BOTTOM UNDER SEAT ....HORRIBLE DESIGN !!!
