- To be honest, I’m pretty late to this party. I’ve seen makers showing off their H2O 2 Go bags left and right. But when Linds was SO incredibly kind and allowed me to film a tutorial, I jumped on the opportunity! I’ve been dying to make this bag, and it does not disappoint. It’s the bag you never knew you needed. It’s absolutely PERFECT for your loved ones who are always carrying around a water bottle. Trust me, this bag is a huge hit!

@Amir Dariel Instablaster =)
You Really did SUCH a great job with this tutorial!! Your instructions and camera work are EXCELLENT & much appreciated by your viewers! Great pattern and such wonderful details to make the PERFECT H2O 2GO tote. Thank you so much for this tutorial.
“Snug as a bug in a rug”. i haven’t heard anyone say that in so long. Love it!
YaaaaaY! Thank you for this! Wanted to see YOUR H2O2go make! Awesome as usual❤️
You did SUCH a great job on this! 👏🏻Thank you so much for the shout out. I can see why people love your tutorials ☺️
Jess is the best by a mile!!!
Thank you so much for all your hard work on this pattern! I begged my crafty friend to make me one! I’m just starting 🥰
I just finished my first H20 to Go, I love this pattern and the tutorials are sooooo helpful, thank you ! My mini tea flask fits perfectly along with all my dog walking paraphernalia. Thank you, both
@@nicolacarter9989 good to know, since I want to use it for dog walking!
Jess is by far my FAVORITE for video tutorials!!!!!
I’m totally going to make this! So excited to have this with everything I need in one bag!
I love the finished product. Such cute fabric. Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I've had the pattern for a while and watched several other videos but was really hoping you would do one!
You truly are the best “teacher”! I love your tutorials!! Thank you so much for your inspiration and great tutorials!!
Thank you for such a brilliant tutorial Jess. I have had this pattern for a few months, I will now make it for myself with your help.
Sew fun! I can’t wait to make it! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents with us!
I do have the pattern. I was so excited to see you dong this for your tutorial. I also watched her tutorial after I purchased the pattern and gave her a thumbs up also. It’s fun to,watch you both. 🙌🏻👍🏻
I just have to say thank you for your tutorials. I just made this and love it. I have made several of the patters from your tutorials. I’m ordering the pattern for the back pack and will be working on that tonight.
Cute little handy bag!!!🌟🌟🌟😍 Great job! 😘
I've been reluctant to sew this bag, but after watching your tutorial video, I think I can do it! Thank you again, Jess. You are one of my favorite sewing teachers!
I am so excited for this! I have been wanting to make a couple of these for my adult kids and of course myself!
Thanks for the tutorial on the H2O 2 GO SLING pattern by Linds Handmade. I used a waterproof canvas with rubber backing on the outside and a thick waterproof lining. All went well apart from when I did the bottom - a few minor creases and a bit mis-shaped but still useable. Will try out different fabrics next time and do the purse option. The slip pocket is deep enough to keep sunglasses or spectacles. I had some 1” cotton webbing which I used for the strap. Great pattern and quite quick to come together. Thanks again Jess and Linds for a fabulous make.
I purchased this pattern quite a bit ago. I am so happy to see you make the H20 sling. You honestly make everything so much easier and keep us all entertained and focused. What I have trouble with...you clear up in a quick minute for me. Thank you for all you do.
Omgosh i love this pattern! Ive seen other bottle bags but thought they were too ugly, this just looks like a cute bag with that pocket.
You are such a talented teacher. I love your techniques and how well you explain each step.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I have the pattern all ready just haven’t had time to start yet. Thanks for another awesome tutorial ❤️
Thanks Jess! Your videos are so easy to follow.
Hi Jess, I just love your classes and learn to love you as if you are my own daughter. This bag will change my life forever for the good, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you ever so much. Do not stop what you are doing, you are kind and unique and a born teacher.
I bought this pattern a while ago and I was not sure I could do this one ,and Now you have a tutorial ! How amazing, yea I’m making this !!!
So cute. I enjoy your videos.
Two items you have introduced to me; Wonder Clips and a sewing stiletto.
Changed my sewing life.
I bought this pattern a few days ago and have been putting of starting it. I can't wait to get started after seeing your video. I learn better by watching than by reading directions. Thanks so much for making this excellent tutorial.
So THAT'S how you do those gusseted pockets! So cute! When I get a few more bags under my belt I'm definitely going to try this.
I just love your tutorials! You do such a wonderful job!
Jess, I just love watching your tutorials ❣️❣️looking pretty banging with this H20 pouchy 🤩
Thanks for creating this tutorial using fabric with waterproof canvas! I have the cutest dog fabric I want to use (as this is the bag I would take when walking/hiking with my dog)!
Thanks for your great tutorial! Love how it turned out
You have great tutorials! I was looking for a pattern for this so perfect timing! Thanks!
i really love that you explain even the thread and needle!! as am new to sewing..this gets confusing..many thanks from Québec!
Love this water bottle sling. Going to start this in the morning
Loved watching this ordered the pattern and going to make a couple of Christmas gifts for my sisters😄
I LOVE this! This project will make an excellent gift for literally anyone who isn't in a coma, as we all drink water!
I've been trying to think of something not too complicated to make for men and this really fits the bill. I have several colors of cotton webbing I bought years ago to make halters for my horses. I no longer have horses, so I have plenty left over. I love that I already have everything I need to make this, today! Well, after I finish the bowl cozies I'm making for my sister's BFF.
I can’t tell you how THANKFUL I was to have this video. You are such a WONDERFUL teacher. Thank you for sharing your great teaching with us. 🙌🏻
Thank you Carol!
I love that you are okay with imperfection! That is what makes sewing so much fun! You can create things with character and often they are one of a kind! Thanks for another wonderful tutorial. ❤️🥰
Just bought the pattern! On sale today! Plan on making it this week. I will share when it is finished. ❤️
I LOOOVE the H20 2GO. It’s pure perfection. I’ve made 3-4 of them... I just have to perfect the bottom, it’s actually the exterior bottom. I’ve tried once with her updated tips for it & it did turn out a little better ☺️
Thank you Jess, I so enjoyed making mine, and want to do a second one to be even better. I think this will be my all time go to bag to use.
Aww that's awesome!
Why do folks feel the need to give the thumbs down on a tutorial meant only to be helpful? I can understand a thumbs down on controversial topics, but this is not one of those at all. Please be kind and scroll by if this isn’t your cup of tea!
Ooooh! Love this!!! I'm totally on the H2O2GO train now! 😉
What a great tutorial~thank you so much. I am going to give this a try!
Love this! I have the pattern I just need to go ahead and make it. You make it look so quick and easy...
I received my pattern today in the mail, yes, I am one of those that love printed patterns, ANYWAY......excited, I have a grandaughter in Rugby and I am hoping she will love it. But clipping the zipper is new to me...........but I always trust her patterns the first go around........thank you Jess for the demo.
I was going to sign up for an expensive 2 day class at my local sewing studio because I was too intimidated to try making this bag but your easy to follow step by step video guided me through and somehow I successfully completed my first H2O2GO bag! Thank you so much! You are the best! My strap came out a bit wonky since I cannot sew straight so I decided to use my serger with the knife off to finish the edges and that improved the look immensely plus I have some in the hoop embroidery strap end files I will use to finish it.
So glad you made this bag!!
I've been waiting for you to do this bag!!! yea!!! now I will buy and make
Thats cool! Great Christmas gift, going to have to make it!
Absolutely brilliant looking forward to making this bag..... I love this pattern..... thank you xxx😀🧑🎄😀
Have fun!
Made my first h2o 2 go bag... I'm still breathing.. was tougher than I imagined but I am new at this! I will try try try until I master it!! Great video as always!!
Jess you are an amazing instructor showing every detail, I love watching how easy you make things look you are an inspiration 😊
You are such a good teacher Jess!
Great job. I think I'll try it. You make it look easy. Wish me luck.
I love this.
I also love my pinking shears .
I'm so glade you did this video I already bought the pattern & already got some stuff to make it
I'm sooooo excited that you are doing this bag. I have been very nervous to make this one but you explain it so well. Thanks for this great video!
Have fun!
Made this last month. It was a fun build. Plan on making more
Wow! This project is quite involved, but you do a great job as always. Thank you 🧡
Thanks for yet another Excellent tutorial. I made one of these when the pattern first came out and admit I did struggle a bit, but just made one while following along with your video and it was so very much easier and ended up so much nicer. You are amazing. I base my decision to buy a bag pattern mostly on whether or not Jess has a video for it !!!
This is THE BEST tutorial I have seen for this bag.
Great bag. I am an intermediate sewist so I can't even attempt it. But maybe one day I will. Thanks for sharing.
I am so excited about this one!
Thank you for you great video. I just got 2 finished. I made them out of Hemp canvas and WPC so they should last a lifetime!
I looove your tutorials!
🎉I’m so excited for this tutorial and I’m not even going to make it lol
definitely think i’ll give this a try, might be a bit ambitious for my skill level but this is a very good tutorial and i think as long as i read all the directions and pour over this video i will be good
Great tutorial, glad I watched it helped me understand the pattern so much better. I went to an upholstery store to buy waterproof canvas but thought it was pretty thick. Looks like your canvas is lighter weight. Can you advise me please.
Thanks again for all the time you spend doing theses tutorial’s.
I bought the pattern without even watching the whole video! Love this idea
Love everything you do! I especially appreciate that you are using a domestic, I’m often too scared to follow other tutorials because they use industrials.
Thank youuuuu
Love it!!! (And your top! 😍)
Thank you!!
Great tutorial. I have made 4 so far. The first I made accordingly to instructions, it lacked structure, to me. I then added heavier interfacing to the bag it looks great but too hard on the hands sewing the base. I finally added sponge to the lining it works great. Fantastic pattern and idea. My daughter and her friends go bushwalking every weekend and they will be presents for them for Christmas. Thanks again for your tutorial it really gave me the courage to have a go. Merry Christmas to all, yours sincerely Mary
That's amazing Mary! I love that you adapted the pattern to fit your needs!
This is a challenging pattern! But you inspired me to try it. I’d be lost without you!
It is for beginners. I've been trying to make this for 2 days lol. Thank God for seam rippers. The front zip pocket came out beautiful but, I will never try using canvas as a slip pocket or credit card slots on a domestic machine again. The seams were way too thick.
Soooooooo cool!!! Sharing your video.🥰🐞🤗
Love the sling but love your top more Jess!
I love it!!!!! So going to make this soon! Do you have plans to do a tutorial on the Flair Crossbody by Bagstock Designs?
I just got around to making one. I dont know how your base ovals came out so perfect. I didnt do it until the liner but I made.little cuts around the circular part to help even out the top with the base like with the zipper. My exterior came out all kinds of wonky!
Been looking for a drink holder pattern ty ,very nice
so excited to make this, thank you!
Have fun!
This is such a great pattern - thanks Jess!! Would there be any chance of seeing it made with a boxed bottom?
Bought the pattern and the svg file too. My hubby surprised me with the acrylic templates for Christmas. I got as far as the front exterior, then tried to sew the bottom and it was a big FLOP. I think it was my exterior fabric. It frayed badly. Well, I frogged it and starting over with different fabric. Wish me luck!!! Thanks for your tutorials!!!!!
So excited you did this! That base always has me sweating XD
I agree, the base is a tricky one. I found it much easier the second time around
Can't wait to make this! Did you use decovil on the waxed canvas?
Smart bag, thank u ❤
jess you are a wonder I love watching you and your ideas of clipping the edge of the zipper what a great Idea
That is a great tutorial, so easy to follow
Thanks Karen!
btw..spooky you just posted this, i already had this pattern in my etsy cart a few days ago! i love it!
To get that top edge nicely rolled for the top stitching, wet your fingertips. That makes rolling quilting cotton sooo easy
Another GREAT video Jess!! Where do you get the decovil light? I can’t find it anywhere🤦🏻♀️
This would be perfect for when I walk my dog! 🐾
It is!
Yes! You can put a soft collapsible bowl in the pocket for your doggy's water, too!
@@LazyIRanch that’s a great idea, thank you!
I love your craft room. Where did you buy the drawers for storage? Thanks
I love this bag. Here in Arizona, we will need this all year long. Please remind me: which side of the waterproof canvas is the right side?
Hey. I just saw your video about the rivet press. So never mind my previous question.
Enjoyed watching
Thank you Jess for a great tutorial. Where do you get your metal bag tags?
Tip: if you forego the front pocket and cut both pieces from the liner pattern piece, cut the main piece 1/4" longer, so that the liner is a touch smaller, and fits perfectly inside
Jess, would you do the H20 bag using both the front slip/zip pocket & the boxed bottom ? No card slots please
@Jess - First off amazing job AS ALWAYS !!! I enjoy your videos so much - wondering could you replace the woven interfacing on the card slot pieces with craftfuse on this one? I LOVE how easy its made my NCW's so was wondering if I could do the same here lol
Yes you can! I would suggest using craftfuse for those card slots too. It's a great material!
i think i'm the only one not jumping on the water bottle bag wagon. cute bag but not my thing i think. Jess would you consider doing the mia wallet by bagstock? i'm wanting to do one but nervous as all heck new to wallets thanks!
Thanks for a great tutorial! Do you have any videos on overstitching? I am still not able to overstitch evenly, especially in curved projects like this one. Help!
I have made one and it took me 3 separate days of seeing to get it done. I wish it had a square bottom to make construction easier. Also broke several zippers trying to just sew the tabs on. I guess it is best sewed with industrial machine.
