Almost 40 years ago, I’ve been fervently praying for years that I’d be an airline pilot. It was a prestigious and fitting profession given my education, built, personality, etc. But rare natural events prevent it from realization. I was heartbroken and lost of what to become, as alternative. I was in a job that I disliked but hanged on to it so I’d have income and finding a better job shall be easier. Had no other choice but to surrender and trust the Lord. Years later I’m now a professional helping families & giving others livelihoods, made good by that job that I first disliked. I have married and it bore two lovely, now adult children. None of these priceless blessings would have come if I became an airline pilot. Thanks God! 🙏🙏🙏
I prayed for 6 years to go to Canada..,I applied for a student visa, PR., and any pathway available but all failed., unitl on the 7th year, an opportunity to study Masters in the US opened with 15,000 USD scholarship, and my visa application was very smooth, the US embassy didn’t even require me to appear in the embassy physically..,😊 They just instruct me to send my passport and after 3 days, viola!!, student visa for 5 years! God is indeed amazing and we just have to trust His perfect timing. Never lose hope and faith! Thanks Bo for the message.❤
I prayed long time ago that God will allow me to work in New Zealand but i failed in my IELTS, then again someone was hiring for a teaching job in the US and again i got scammed from the recruiter of a big amount and it has not been realized and after that i stopped praying about working abroad and just continue teaching in Philippines for 30 yrs until one day my auntie who has lived in Australia got sick and i was requested to pay a visit with her so i applied for a tourist visa and then i again started to pray and made a discernment asking God to please grant me this time to be able to travel in Australia and yes God answered my prayer and now that i am here i again asked God to allow me to study and be granted another visa and God is awesome ..why ?at age 56 i didnt expect God again answered me and now I am here studying at the same time serving my auntie and the aged. God's plan always prevails and it made me realize a lot of things about God's faithfulness to everyone ! So now i just kept on thanking Him and surrendering to Him my plans !
I’m really touched and relate with your reflection bro. Bo. It gives me strength and inspiration to wait for God’s best blessing for me which is part of my prayer everyday. I surrender everything to Him. If that big blessing and oppurtunity comes, i would gladly help anawim, which is one of my missions to help the abandoned elderly people.

2 years ago, I got my very first rejection at a job application. I was already looking forward and imagining me working there, only to be rejected. I was brokenhearted, I cried after the news, I was praying for strength and wisdom to understand the rejection I just experienced. After a few months, I found out that some of my work friends (who applied and got in) left the job because it was too mentally draining.
Lord our God, we bow down before you in this time when you have brought us hardships and judgment. Change this earthly age, we beseech you. Bring in something from Heaven so that your will may be done and your mercy come to all nations. Strengthen us on all our ways, we pray. We thank you for all you have done for us. May your name be praised and glorified at all times. We want to follow you and to remain in your Heavenly life. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
Sometimes, I want to move to the city and live alone, away from my parents, but I was declined. Maybe it's because He wants me to be closer to my family. I hope God will help me.

I prayed for a tricycle before for our family service, , but God said no, and after few years He gave us a car. 😊
