For all Muslims, if you’re having a heartache, anxiety, sadness, despair, read these duas again and again.
    1. HasbunAllahu waniimal wakeel
    2. La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu mina al zhalimin
    3. La hawla wala quwwata illa billah

I do NOT like the man in the story who said "pick one of my wives, I will divorce her and give her to you." That statement is disgusting and Hatem should have said "I have Yakeen in ALLAH an do not speak about your wife that way, she is NOT "yours to give." I cannot stand these parts of stories and the speaker doesn't even notice how un-Islamic it is, he just walked past it. And I'll bet some people reading this will take offence to my point, instead of saying "By ALLAH this s right."

This is story of AbdurRahman ibn Auf ...and that told by the Ansaar who welcomed him in his home , and it must be still that time when yet in Islam the limitations of having 4 wives only at a time or the laws related to marital bond might not have yet been ordained.....
In Islamic law after the laws of marital bonds ...a Muslim couldn't say such to another Muslim brother, let alone how would a Swahaba say to another . /companions of Our Prophet' (swall'Allahu Alayhi wa'Sallam)

The scholars knows how unislamic it is yet skips past that part without acknowledging while this part of thr history is weird and strange in Islam not to mention strange in morals of humanity itself..
But I excuse him as the point here of the entire lecture is about rizq. It could be to stay focused on the topic of rizq he didn't wander into other points of the history and life journey of the sahaba.
It is also possible that during that event in history that Ansari said if his wife agrees to marry Abdurrahman ibn Awf he could marry her after the Ansari divorces her, and it's just a summary of what actually happend, in hadiths, without elaborating on all the details.

No matter whether that His creatures is non-muslims, or muslim who doesn't obeying to Him (like don't pray, don't fasting during month of Ramadhan and etc.) For more details, you may watch Nouman Ali Khan video that tell us about Allah's name of al-Rahman . the populution of women are about 3× the men..if there are girls left without marrying then why dont he advice him to marry someone else. isnt it logical to make him marry with someone who is single or already devorced one then divorcing ur own wife since it is the heatred thing by Allah.
what would u do if She(the women) is not happy with that decition.
this hadis might be Mawzuh..or atleast someone should logically explain that.
did he realy mean i will devorce my wife or did he just wanted to show how ready he is to sacrify for his muslim brother which is in need.

yes u r right about women population and i agree with u and i dont know that this hadith is sahih or not but if it is fabricated then i m totally wrong irrespect to what i think .....but u didnt hear the lecture properly he said that because he knew that his brother was really poor and has no money to marry and it will be difficuly for him to find a girl..... then he might have said this just to show him his affection.....and remember in islam you cant marry unless both of the partners are ready

Hmmm...maybe u r right. We must think and search and reason allot and ask question to remove misunderstanding; We should be like Ibrahim (as) hence he questioned Allah and said (in the Quran):
How do u give life to the death, and Allah said: are u not of the believers, and he said i am definitly of the believers but i want to calm down my heart.
In this example Allah clearly says that when u ask question from them(some muslims) they will say dont u believe(while they dont know the answer and follow blindly and make us follow blindly), and Allah putted such example to respond these people who stops other muslims from thinking further. We should know every reason for owr actions with logic or atleast try know. Otherwise how will u explain isalam to non muslims since u dont know the logic behind.. and there isnalways a logic behind what we are asked to do, the thing is to gind them

      - and you "should" avoid using the word "should" when speaking to an adult. How old are you?
Who are you to should me? And how well-founded are your own personal beliefs that you need someone else to explain them? Again, how old are you?
Do YOU have verifiable evidence for the existence of a god?
