Amy was in great danger of having token girl syndrome, being the only female regular aside from Leela who is more main of a character. So it's nice that their relationship is actually stereotypically feminine. They are clearly friends so this isn't bitch girl attitude, it's just sitcom bullying, where its common for good friends to insult each other in sitcoms for laughs.
