If a Dry Bowser update becomes true, this is what he needs:
-immune to fire balls
-immune to lava (falls into lava, but jumps out)
-throw bones like he did in NSMBDS
-Faster movement and fireballs than Bowser
-Breaks apart if falls from too much height, but revives himself. (Just for fun)
-Starts as a pile of bones, but once you get near him he rebuilds.
-have less health than bowser, but have 2/3 phases
-blue fireballs (edited)
Just some ideas.
Edit: I have a reply in this comment telling ways you could beat him.
Edit 2: I usually don't edit a comment twice, but I think it's safe to say that Dry Bowser in Mario Maker is but a dream. Shame that we couldn't get what we wanted at the end.
Edit 3: Ok, if there's one thing I noticed, it's that people are hyper reliant on using just the fire flower to kill an enemy. Just calling em out here, because I guess there aren't any OTHER ways to kill a Mario Enemy aside from the Fire Flower.

Dry Bowser could:
Breathe blue fire, have another attack in throwing bones, be immune to fireballs, and crumple into bones as a death animation. Also in case you're wondering how he could be defeated its pretty simple, besides being immune to fireballs he would still have the same weaknesses as bowser for the most part. And he could still be killed by falling into an abyss on non-castle stages.

How Dry bowser would work like this if he was actually in SMM2:
-normal dry bowser would have blue fire and be immune to fire attacks
-using a cape, boot or tanooki suit will take him down but he will get up after a while(but you would still get the clear condition or 🔑 when you bring him down) he can however can still be killed by the axe and the lava (if put ground under) will make him sink into it but still be alive.
Dry bowser with wings:
Dry bowser throws giant bones in a ark like a hammer bro he could spit fire that follows you from nsmb2 for the 3ds
Clown car they could just keep the ba-boms he normally has Or throw bones
3d world They could add him in as dry meowser or they could make him a normal dry bowser but he has a tanooki tail like in 3d land. It’s possible to see him in since there is now room because bowser and bowser jr. split into two slots unlike in SMM

Yeah I know that Dry Bowser should be immune to fire, and that the NSMBU and SM3DW ones should have blue fire, I tried and it's impossible yet, sorry.
But making it immune to fire it's possible, so I will update the mod soon for that.

What a nice mod.
I liked Mario World Dry Bowser the best because the way he attacked looked more like the way he usually attacks. Mario U just had the regular Bowser fireballs, not the blue ones. Same case with non-blue fire balls in Mario 3D World.
