    Thanks for the video quite informative. I am planning a trip to Haiti soon and trying to learn as much kreyól ayisyen as I can. I will be fun to practice speaking it.

    Can the noun "nèg" have a pejorative sense? It's close to something in English and I want to avoid that context.

      No, remember that 99.99% of the people who speak Creole are of the same color, so it wouldn't occur to a Haitian to insult someone that way.

      @@miamiguy803 yes, misye is fine. The i in misye is pronounced like ee in tree and the e is pronounced like the ay in day
