I have a question when you guys when to cyprus. Did he need a visa or is it visa on arrival for both of you .I am us citizen but my friend is kenyan. Was wondering if he will need a visa.
Chibuchi needed a visa prior to travel to Cyprus. HHG was able to do visa on arrival in Cyprus as shown @ 4:31. Your Keyan friend will most likely need a visa to travel. Definitely do your research to avoid trouble! 😬
Be grateful you are allowed to get in..Just imagine what will happen if you are traveling to the US in the same scenario.

Hi, why did you not get your Visa in the US? They still show tourist visas as a choice on the website.
Yes they do and i was suppose to , but no Tourist visa for available for now except the business visa which is for 30 days and can be extended also.

Not really just go on the website and apply for it.
I am not trying to defend Nigerian authority here, but the person you went to visit dropped the ball in all of these. When you asked him about the visa situation, he should have contacted the immigration, and they would have told him that they are not issuing tourist visas to Americans at that moment. He did not, and that was the mistake that gave room to the extortion. Ideally, they should have put you on the plane back to America because you didn't have the necessary visa to enter they country. That is what they will do in other country without corruption. I know if they had done that, you would have come out here to make a video complaining about it. What they did was illegal because they let you into the country on a business visa when you are not a business person. They see what they did as a way to help you, and they used it to extort you when they should have just deported you. Nigeria practices retaliatory visa policy with the United States. You should have confirmed what he said about visa on arrival by calling the embassy before you left Florida. I am glad you came out here to highlight the extortion, but you didn't go further enough to highlight that fact that people should should always check with embassies of the country they are going for visa policies before they get on the plane.

You should also take part of the blame. Nigeria And America Had no Visa On Arrival Agreement. Apply Direct From The Embassy. Next time done your research very well with the same Google. You used to research the meaning of extortion?
