I learned the concept of "I language" in high school with honors in Peer Counseling classes. We were taught to have discussions with people saying "I feel this" and owning your statements and avoiding the words you etc... People listen better and don't feel as criticised and attacked and problems solved much easier.

If you trust God or universe, then you'll believe that a man who isn't right for you will pull away is no loss. It's making room for the right person. Just chill and continue with your life. Let what happens tell you what you need to know. You cannot make or force things. When it's right, it's natural not forced. It's okay to feel sad when you like someone, but realize they don't like you or it just isn't right.

It’s great to hear a mans perspective on these topics. My boyfriend admitted to me he has depression and lately he is stressed due to not being where he wants to be in life. He hid away for about two days and even though I know a man needs his space to gather himself it caused me to get too much in my head I felt crazy and anxious. I stayed strong I didn’t react, I let him be .. I did tell him when he did reach out that I was on his side and I think about him and how I trusted him he was going to figure his situación out. I also told him he is a great bf to me and a great father to his kids. His response “ thanks babe, I needed to hear that from you”. I just wish I was not so much in my head when things don’t go how I expect them to
Im in the same situation with my man. I try to give him his space and support him when he comes towards me. He calls me and texts me, although he doesnt send me those beautiful " Good morning" texts anymore which he absolutely knows i adore and cherish. Instead its me sending them now! He thanks me for being there for him but i cant help but feel like im being neglected or "pushed aside" while he is like this.
I want him to still ask to see me like he used to. I feel sad, abandoned and confused right now because he still talks to me via text or phone call every day, although the magic, the sweetness and affection and excitement isnt as evident anymore. I guess depression just drains that enthusiasm away from ones self. Its a lonely feeling....

@@marisolhernandez1119 we decided to go our separate ways. He instigsted it but we both agreed that it wasnt the right time for either of us to be together. Our relationship was always triggering my anxiety. We weren't a good match on that level. I always had a gut feeling that something wasnt quite right, although we are still on good terms with eachother. He just wasnt emotionally available to me while he was going through his PTSD. This mental health issue is ongoing and i just didnt have the strength to stick through it.
It was killing me and now that its over, its like a huge weight has lifted from me. It felt like i was trapped in a holding pattern for a time when it was convenient for him to show me that he cared. I know this may sound selfish but we all have our own personal journey to travel. If you stay, thats your choice but be prepared to have some serious ups and downs and in the end, you may not "survive" the process.
Relationships are the biggest lessons in our lives. They hit raw nerves and break our hearts wide open, test us mentally and emotionally, they can also shut us down but what i learned from this is to trust my intuition and when you get anxiety over something or someone, its not the right path for you!
Ive now met another man who doesnt trigger me. So far, all is great!! 😊

I can be quiet when I am with a man. But I don't like a text to end in the middle of a conversation, with no explanation !

@@xx5a1Maxx This is from personal experience. I am focusing my energy on myself and never chase. This is a great way of letting your man know that you know your value. This is happening to me right now. I deactivated all the social media account. The next day he texted me asking if I blocked him (so meaning he is checking on me).
EXCHANGE OF MESSAGES:
I responded with a short response, "I deactivated, and I didn't block you."
He responded, "why deactivate."
I responded, "just busy."
I only invest in the level of his investment. I am not desperate because I know I am a catch and a prize too. I know my worth. I also respect his space, if that's what he needs right now. I am trying to understand the situation since he just lost his job. I believe that if we are meant for each other, he will be back. For now, I will focus on being my best self, he needs to see what he is about to lose. I will continue to be invisible to keep him interested and wondering about me.

My boyfriend who I've only been with a few months pulled away and I only heard from him a few times over 2 weeks. I stepped back and he contacted me. He's focused on opening up a new business. He's been great the last 2weeks with texting every day several times during the day which I great but he's not as sweet with the compliments or hostnames like before. And he hasn't made time for a date. I feel like we started over. Any suggestions on how to get some time with him?
@Susan Carey, mirror back what he is giving you... Don't always be available. Watch videos by MJ Harris he talks about this, invest in those who invest in you. When a man is focused on starting a business or running it, he won't be able to give you a lot of time but he should be able to give something. Tell him you're looking for someone who can make time and that even the President who is very busy makes time for his wife. Ask him if he can agree to one hour a week doing something together and once he gets settled then you'd like to increase it, and if not then you will wish him well but that you don't have time to wait around. Don't accept breadcrumbs. One of the books that helped me the most is by Sherry Argov, "Why Men Love Bitches" and "Why Men Marry Bitches" I promise it will change your life!

Definitely not, that’s the last thing you ever want to do.
It’s okay to accept your feelings, but try to learn from the grief. These feelings are temporary. Learn to love and value yourself and then you will see these feelings that have been bottling up disappear. I know it’s hard, but when you start to invest in yourself you will see just how powerful you really are. Value yourself, cherish yourself, believe that you can do great things without this man. Because YOU CAN! If he does come back you will feel empowered and you will need to set boundaries for yourself so you won’t get hurt again. Remember men are human too and they also need space for themselves to think and process their emotions. Instead of letting the hurt get to your and drain you, come back more powerful. Focus on you, if he does not come back you will know it was just not meant to be. However, by that point you will have accepted that because you deserve to be loved and if that man can’t see that, then he was just not the one. Hope this helps!!
