Absolutely Baffles out! 👍🏻
Got these on my Interceptor, never tried them with out baffles though as it sounds fine with them in.
Thanks for the thorough comparison. I, for one, prefer the stock sound level with the TEC/baffles-out sound spectrum (low freq rumble).
Thanks for the detailed review Dave and your previous installation video.
I will be ordering a set for my 2019 Interceptor as soon as I stop typing.
Great review. I know it's a lot of work but it's really appreciated and helps people spend their hard earned wisely.
Best regards and Cheers.
Dave ( Southport, UK )
Thanks Dave, much appreciated. 👍🏍
I have the 2-1 Stinger and am considering getting the 2-2 cannons purely for the looks but the stinger does sound amazing with baffle out and gives you a 14kg weight loss!
I got Lextek slipons for my 650 GT, sounds very similar. Thanks for the upload!
Nice!👍🏍
I thought about getting the lextek but they are not road legal in England, so am getting these tec canons 👍🏼
@@drivingmecrazy9998never had road legals one a before and never had an issue I wouldn't care about that if I were you
I prefer baffles out :-)
Oh I say!!!! Vroom Vroom! What a fantastic soundtrack! Out! 100% Dave your a hooligan!! Always nervous when riding away and leaving a camera at the side of the road! 🏍💨💨
Baffles out sounds great. Caveat. When I had my CBF1000 with delkivic exhaust cans on it it sounded phenomenal without the baffles however on long trips the drone of the exhaust became not just fatiguing but very annoying. Long story short what sounds good for a short time becomes very annoying after 20 minutes or so. I ended up running with baffles in after Avery short time.
Loves your videos ...💓💓love fr 🇮🇳
Very kind, thanks for the compliment!
really sounds great without the baffles😍🔥ride safe, stay safe✌️
Thanks for the comparison video; much appreciated. Imho the exhausts sound better with the baffles, but I run standard pipes on everything I ride.
Keep up the good work, really enjoying the channel.
Thanks for the message Peter. 👍🏍
Baffles out sounds loud BUT as a old bike should sound....
Definitely baffles out. Love the sound.
Totally agree.👍🏍
Nice review thanks! This will be the next improvement on my SM650
Definitely with the baffles out 👍
It's got a 270 deg crank - you either love those or loath them. I personally prefer the sound of a 360 deg crank all day long. Think Norton Commando, Triumph 750 Bonneville, BSA 650 etc etc.
Baffles out sound awesome!
Baffles off on mine, and tossed in the garbage. Also bought the TEC straight though stainless header pipes. Large increase in HP, and big decrease in weight.
Sounds great with baffles out 😁
like the sounds with out the baffles so people in cars can hear you near
Fantastic clip ,thanks for sharing its made up my mind about which slipons to get and without the baffles .
I pick up my new mr clean gt650 next week and im really looking forward to it .
Cheers

Thanks for watching Dave. Enjoy your bike, they really are superb fun and equally as pleasurable just to look at. The Tec slip-ons were recommended to me by @themissendenflyer and in my opinion they have completed the bike. The sound in real life is so much better than in my video. Enjoy!!
@@WheelieGoodTV
Thanks Dave
I had a 2 year old t120 and a 2 year old triumph scrambler xe1200 but to be honest they were well over priced the mr clean looks the part for a fraction of the price
Just wondering if you know where i could get a chrome seat cowl ,it looks like they do all colours but chrome
Thanks
Dave
That sound 😍
Baffles out for sure.
Sound way deeper without, however due to legality I would keep them in.
Baffles out are best.
in the old days when I was a lad and had yamaha 360 Enduro;s and we took the baffles out , the engine had tom be tuned more often,,,maybe that could be a test for you
Good review. Just a suggestion. When doing silencer reviews it might be an idea to down load a free sound meter on your phone and hold it a meter from the end/side of the end. Then we've an idea of just how loud baffles in and out are.
Love this. Didn’t know there was such a thing. Thanks 🙏
I have the hitchcocks cone exhaust on my 500 classic. Have no idea why they don't have grub screws on baffles... Instead on nuts, bolts, & spot welds
That’s a lovely bike
Baffles out sounds so much better.
Sounds amazing
Yeah, and the video doesn’t do them justice. Much better in real life.
Definitely out, mate!
Baffles out. Sounds much better. And more Dad jokes please.
Out for sure
Definitely out, is it me or does it sound quieter? 🤔
Sounds better out I think.
Very good test ! I do prefer without baffles but what about french policemen ? 😬😉
🤣👍
mine stalls easily to , i was told throttle response is poor because they are so lean .
Out, out, out!
Dave, loving the content. As a fellow Geordie living in Wales rather than Ireland, I notice you’ve picked up the local accent too. Ahhh the price we pay for love…. Wouldn’t change a thing. Howay the lads.
What a super message Scott! Take care Bonny lad!
I thought the law would come down on anyone removing the baffles Is it now legal?
It’s not illegal in Ireland. I don’t know where you are?? I gather it is illegal in some countries depending on db measurements.
@@WheelieGoodTV You are lucky but I believe that there is no M O T for bikes in Ireland Correct me if I'm wrong
@@elephantsmemory3142 yes that’s also correct although there is talk about introduction of MOT’s for 2025.🤫
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks pal
@@WheelieGoodTV Thanks for letting m know
Have you done any ECU remapping? TEC says that a remap is not necessary with these, but have you found that to still be true with the baffles out?
I didn’t bother as even with the baffles out it idles perfectly and doesn’t miss a beat all the way up the range.
@@WheelieGoodTV Awesome, thanks for the response. One more question if you don't mind, do you have any opinion on the fuel booster plugs that TEC also sells?
@@derp195 I haven’t tried them but i probably will next year. I’ll get in touch with them and see if I can get my hands on one to do a review. Other people say they are a must.👍🏍
@@WheelieGoodTV Good to know, thanks a lot! I was just ordering the exhaust, and I was on the fence about the booster, but I think I'll go for it.
@@derp195 on the strength of your message and many others who have mailed me asking me to review the booster plug along with the air filter I’ve just emailed them to see if I could get my hands on them for review. I’ll keep everyone posted if they’re up for it as I know they’re a family run business and are extremely busy. Hopefully I’ll have them for review in the New Year.👍🏍
Great video, do your baffles seat properly inside the exhaust before you tighten the grub screw? I these to my interceptor today but the baffles seem to go in way too far before they seat on anything so are impossible to tighten up
Thanks Matthew, I can’t say I noticed any problems tbh. Mine seemed to fit and tighten perfectly. They’re still in too so that’s a bonus!🤣👍
yjr bafles out driveby was at a slower speed then the baffles in, so hard to compare..seems like you were also to scared to annoy someone..
does it bug you that the headers are polished and the tips are brushed metal?
Nope, I think it’s a great look. 😍
Definitely baffles out, much much better sound.
Baffles and Tea. ?
baffles out hundo percent
Yeah me too.
@@WheelieGoodTV i just ordered mine for the my 2022 gt650 British racing green.
Baffles out sounds better more bass and low end growl and throatiness to it.
Yeah I’ve been running them without the baffles since I installed them and I love the sound.
No contest, baffles out sounds better.
Do you lose any mid range torque with the baffles out?
None. It’s clean all the way through.
That was a wheelie good test. I'm somewhat less baffled now. Out for me.
Look at the muffler bracket...looks like rust.
?? Defo not rust. These pipes smoke 💨
A crime to have the baffles in.
Jesus...be a dam man. Take the baffles out.
Did you buy a high-flow air filter or any fuel management system or any remapping or tuning needed?
Nothing mate, that’s what attracted me to this system. Plug n Play. 🤗🏍
