They had him try on a skin-tight leather glove, but he already had a latex glove on his hand. There was no possible way it would fit like that
I think Kevin Nash only wore one glove when he was Diesel too. In addition to not taking certain meds so his hand swelled, OJ also put it on incorrectly.

The most ludicrous was The Iron Duke, he claimed he had to wear it because he has a deformed hand, too bad that in the small territory (Vancouver) he was, he also served as referee - without the glove, talk about killing your own kayfabe.

OJ wasn't driving. Al Cowlings was driving the Bronco and trying to get OJ to calm down. OJ had a gun. Al didn't want OJ to hurt himself or try to pull his gun out on the cops. He was buying time for OJ so his arrest would be peaceful. He wasn't helping OJ run or flee the country. His plan worked. He eventually took OJ back home, where OJ surrendered...
