- This is where Ben Falls of the balcony and Kenny and Lee decide to go down and try to save him. Unfortunately, Ben cannot be rescued and Kenny stays behind and makes sure Ben doesn't suffer by using his last bullet on him, letting the Walkers take him.

I just realized how nice it was that Kenny used his last bullet for Ben. He knew that his worst fear was to be eaten by walkers. If Kenny had died there, he would have been reanimated rather than Ben.
Because it would end his suffering from more pain and not knowing what happened to his family.In my opinion i wanted a hardened Ben in TWD:game season 2 then Kenny.He would have been a new fan favorite.

Beautiful scene. Kenny goes from wanting to kill Ben to laying his own life on the line just to spare him the agony of being eaten by walkers. It's a powerful and redemptive moment, and it's one of the most human scenes in The Walking Dead. It shows that even in the most dire of circumstances, the better angels of our nature will prevail.
Telltale understood Robert Kirkman's vision for TWD so much that they made something even better.

Ben saved Carleys last memory.If you look closely, the gun Lee drops when going up the attic is the one that originally belonged to Carley. If Ben is alive, he hands it to Lee who keeps it until the end. If Ben is dropped in EP 4, it's lost forever.

Poor kid, even if he doesn't deserve it as much as others might, I wish he would have made it out of Savannah. He had a good heart, and his own traumas weren't explored much. It would have been interesting to see if he could have moved past his cowardice and ineptitude and developed into a capable survivor. RIP Ben.
connorthesaucejones I don't see how anyone could drop Ben, he didn't really do anything wrong he tied to save the group by giving the bandits supplies. and if Katjaa wouldn't have stood there when the walker was coming, duck wouldn't have been bit, thus making kenny not a wreck. and Clem literally just said to not leave Ben behind which would make her more disappointed, sorry, had to get that off my chest.

Funny thing is, after watching the whole game, I found that Kenny and Ben were a lot alike in their actions. Kenny was willing to go to any lengths for his family, even crushing Larry's head when it was unknown if he really had died. Ben was willing to make a deal with the bandits in order to save (for all he knew) the only people he had left in the world.
They weren't doing these things maliciously; they just felt it was all they could do to save their people.
Honestly I wish Ben was still alive. I know everybody says he should died cause he made very dumb choices! But he did care about everybody and kept thinking about all the people who died so in my opinion he didn't deserve to die. Also Kenny for everybody calling him selfish he isn't. He is just having a hard time with all of his family gone so it's a really hard time so Kenny is making the selfish choices. Hey I would do the same thing if I wanted to stay alive!!!

I've never been so happy to be wrong in my entire life.
I think Kenny stayed to save Ben for several reasons. He felt guilty for letting a young boy (Shawn) die before, he was ready to see his join his son in heaven, and he felt bad for hating Ben after their spat back at the house.
I think people forget that the bandits attacked Ben's people before he met with Lee's group. According to deleted audio recordings, he witnessed the brutal rapes and deaths of his friends at the hands of the bandits; he had a very real and personal fear of what they could do to Lee's group (think of what they could've done to Clementine!). He never intended for things to happen as they did, he was just trying to help. If anything, I think his bargaining gave Kenny enough time to fix the RV.

I kind of love the way Ben died. Because they didn't change who he was. He didn't suddenly become stoic and put behind him his cowardly ways. He died scared and human and himself and even though it was unbearably sad, it was realistic.

So somehow Kenny survives that, that's canon, yet you can clearly hear Kenny getting chomped on down in that alley way after he shoots Ben. Infact I think you can actually see Kenny get bit on the arm at 4:22. Obviously the devs added in Kenny's survival as an afterthought. I don't think they meant for him to survive when they made this scene.
Is this the canon scene? When I played Ben was already dead since chapter 4, and the part where Kenny is "killed" is not as unsurvivable as this one o.o

He cuts the teeth off the walker( as Jane does in season 2 episode 3 in harms way with the walker in the herd) and walks out with it then runs away.

The comments are just filled with "Kenny didn't die; he's in season 2," seriously look at the date. This was posted in the year 2012 and people didn't knew that Kenny was alive and appears in season 2. And it makes sense why it was Kenny's death because it was posted in the year 2012.
The sad thing about this for Lee is that Kenny didn’t actually die somehow, Lee just thought Kenny died and never found out

Kenny was defending Ben and shot him out of mercy. Also, I think Ken just wanted to die at that point. His whole family was gone, and then the boat was stolen, and so he just gave up all hope. I think he actually sympathized with Ben and his want to die. So he decided that if Ben was going to die, they'd do it together. Crazy, right?

This was a great scene. One of the best in any video game I've ever played the fact that Kenny forgave Ben and died trying to save him really got to me as I loved both characters. This game definitely deserved GOTY.
After the remastered, I always come back to this scene.

Ben redeemed himself in episode 5. When he tells Kenny off and talks about how he never made it home, I really started to feel for him. But back in episode 3, when I found out he was responsible for Carley's death and Lilly's breakdown, I wanted to throw him off the train. In episode 4, I only saved him for Clementine since she liked him. But in ep 5 I was able to see things from his POV and when he died I was shocked and depressed.

Glenn left for Atlanta, Doug/Carley was killed at the Store/Shot by Lilly, Mark turned into a Walker, Larry died at the Dairy, Lilly was left behind, Katjaa Committed Suicide, and Duck was shot to avoid turning, Ben and Kenny were all who were left and no matter what happens Lee is forced to leave them behind.
Actually, since this plays in the same universe as the comics, Glenn already had an unfortunate meeting with Lucille by the time Season 3 of this game rolls around.

Nope. Later you'll see a dark hole filled with walkers. Kenny drops the radio in, Christa goes to get it but she can't get out. So Kenny goes and saves her, then dissappears in the hole.
I feel like this should be considered the "canon" storyline in regards to Kenny and Ben.

this is the result of the audio not playing correctly. the scene is set up to simply mute the volume of ben's voice at the gunshot, but i'm guessing that lag causes the game to potentially miss the command and play the voice all the way through
similar thing happens to the guy at the beginning of vince's story in 400 days, where he can also finish talking sometimes

Because they were already focused on something else. If you're talking about episode 1 when they saved glenn, one was eating a body, two were trying to get into the door with the lady screaming, one was innate sitting on a car wheel, one was trying to get into a van, and another was trying to open a door on the first floor. I think they use sound to pinpoint something FIRST, then use smell to get the exact location of the target somehow. The sound alerted the walker, but the smell gave her up.

People are still asking how in the hell Kenny survived that many walkers. I always thought after Kenny killed Ben he pulled his corpse off the spike and used his body as a meat sheild and shoved his way outa there! He probably got covered in walker guts on the way and after Bens corpse was gone Kenny just walked right out.
Lee is the one who discovered walker guts technique and in season 2 Kenny surprised when Clem tells Kenny that Lee and her walk through the horde with walker guts
