Press the button and have your thumb on the spool and you let go when you cast it while still having your thumb hovering over the spool and as soon as it lands in the water you stop the spool before it backlashes other parts such as the brakes come into play so you would have to mess around with the reel to find the right settings for it haha
You can’t get by with a cheap bait caster imo. 100 bucks is a good benchmark for a beginner. I noticed when I had my ros and reel combo I couldn’t get this thing to work at all. Went up in price a little had no problems.
@@idofivethings6222 same here but brother the thing is the spool isn’t that deep and the more line you put on it the heavier it is and the less destine you get out of it
It's a BFS reel, genius. It's supposed to have between 50 and 70 yards of line to keep the spool weight as light as possible to throw light lures such as 1/16 oz.
Hey buddy keep up the work your doing great and people try sending hate and it’s all wrong 70 yards is enough and that’s for dang sure not a blade bait
@@TheHunterFisher oh it looks so thin almost like one but people call blade baits lipless all the time it just bugs me but if you know you're shit can't challenge it 🤣
Oh yeah. Them lipless cranks get some distance. No wonder there awesome for fish in so many conditions.👊👍😄
I could never get the hang of those reels 🤣

only took me like 5 to 10 casts on my friends

Pretty impressive 👍
Freaking perfectly set up 🥹 wish mine did that lol
Yessir Gekkabijin ftw…I have the same rod & reel combo, it’s an amazing combo forsure
I’m hoping to try a different rod soon!
What kind a Reel is it
@@songsmusic1143 daiwa gekkabijin air tw
Will the shimano sensalite rod work for this
I use a Shimano grappler 201hg and caius 151hg for my bfs setup with a Abu Garcia rocksweaper
Pic of it.
@@bigq7856 like a picture
Blade bait mad heavy
Not a blade bait. It’s a Eurotackle Z-Viber that weighs 1/8oz. Not heavy at all.
Nice cast and sick combo
Did you upgrade the handle? What brand is that?
Gomexus
Kind of making me want to make the switch to a baitcaster! I just hear so many good things but then hear some of the negatives
You can do it!
Yea my reel would have birdnested like a sob, hahah
I use a ML with the curado bfs and fell in love with a tiny brim colored lipless..it slays everywhere.
Nice rod!
The pole launched it.
Both gotta do their job for it to work
What reel is this? I got the zephyr 😢
Daiwa Gekkabijin Air TW PE
How did you get so much distance?
Which rod model is that Dobyns?
Sierra ultra finesse 700C👍🏼
Put some more line on it
70 yards is more than enough
@@TheHunterFisher I’m not trying to be rude or say anything but I thought 70 yards would look like more

Wow what pound line are you using😂
what type of line and what pound
👍🏾
Uh where did it go I’m pretty sure that spool was smokin!!! Lol jk
How light is that lure and wholly shit that's far for a light lure n bait caster
How much does it weigh
Looks like you have barely any line on there
What reel is that
30 yards?? 90feet??
how much g is that

What teel is that
The micro lipless is called a blade bait lol
This isn’t a blade bait. It’s the Z Viber a lipless crankbait.
@@TheHunterFisher oh it looks so thin almost like one but people call blade baits lipless all the time it just bugs me but if you know you're shit can't challenge it 🤣
Blade baits are straight up metal, lipless cranks are plastic
Reels are sooooo hard to use
Whats that reel
Daiwa GekkaBijin Air TW PE Special
I use my Corrado DC for a bait's a quarter ounce and it just sends it
@@shawnsimon6364 yeah these baits are a lot lighter
How did you not get a rats nest
Why is there like No line on it
Line feeds through the eye on the reel better when line is even with it.
Not hard at all clown
Do it then😂
