I realize there were not many videos posted this year because of my big move, but since I have my own place now, the goal is to make more content more quickly including turboing the del sol! Thank you everyone for the continued support and I cannot wait for this up coming year and all I have planned for you! Also I broke in the new driveway with the traditional Christmas Gift video which was perfect!

First reply hehe
cant wait till you hit 10 million
Hi Chris! I just got my motorcycle serviced at a shop. They did a really good job at polishing, washing, cleaning, and using was. In the end, it shined like it came out of the factory! Even the new LCD screen modification went from being dusty to being as clean as the day it was delivered. Also, last Friday i changed my own motorcycle engine oil (I did not have a breaker bar so i disconnected a socket which i reconnected shortly, but the bolt was loose enough) and after loosening the bolt i could remove it by hand, then i put in Atlas Honda (i think it was 20W50? I cannot remember, though the container is still in my home) 20W50 Engine Oil along with a plastic funnel
Thanks for inspiring me to work on my bike aswell!
also i watched a youtube video of the same bike model to be sure i know where the drain bolt was (70cc motorcycle)
Still waiting on Chrisfish content :)
Chris is not just suggesting gift ideas, he's explaining why you need them and how to use them. Fantastic.
Thanks! I like showing practical applications!
THIS HERE EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN TELLING YOU TOO LOOK FOR SO YOU COULD TELL ME WHERE IT IS SO I COULD GO THERE AND CATCH IT
YOU FOOLS!
@@chrisfix You have no Philanthropy and that makes you a horrible person.
@@otopico What’s wrong with you?
You sound a little unhinged.
@@MucaroBoricua I get it, I am a little bit off. ADHD and all that kind of stuff.
Sometimes I get a little too excited
I've gone from watching Chris Fix for a year or so to being able to work in the car industry with confidence in what I'm doing
That’s awesome!!! Glad to hear you’re learning a lot!
Nice
Nice job man! I've been watching him since like 2016 when he was doing the police interceptor project. He hasn't disappointed since 2016!
Was that after reading the 2 books? I think I saw your work on Just Rolled In. 😉
@@chrisfix do you have any videos on replacing cv axles?
I’ve been watching Chris for years I’ve never seen such a genuine person before. He went as far as even wrapping them up too to show you that it can be done. You’re amazing man! I hope I meet you in person one day!
Thanks a lot! I hope to meet you one day as well!
I remember coming home after school and watching your videos with my brother like how to buy a used car and your turning a regular car into a police car series. Thank you for getting me into cars. The level of effort you put into the videos is unreal. I am definitely going to buy those books for my future children to give them the same childhood that I had. Thank you once again. ❤❤❤
I'm glad the videos helped get you into cars! Thanks a lot!
The thermal camera can also be VERY useful for diagnosing motherboard overheating elements into differents consoles or eletronics 😊
That is a GREAT idea!
I was surprised how low-res that one is, though.160x120 is pretty sad. The Seek one I tried was 206 x 156.
It would have saved me a ton of time I had a overheating relay that caused electrical problems took me a bit to find it lol
Have you seen the price? It’s outrages
@@prettyflygamer true but $300 for the flir or 1k+for a used motor if your lucky and can swap out yourself.
I love when Cooper helps. Santa's little helper❤
My sons are 7 and 4 love they watching your videos.
It is so refreshing.
They even tell me the steps to paint a rusty spot on my car!!
So thankful for you to take the time to pass your knowledge on. You are a legend. God bless you and your family.
As a teacher those books not only get them into the car community but gets them excited about reading!
That’s a good point! I never really got into reading except for the stuff I enjoyed like cars and books so that makes a lot of sense!
Excellent point! 👍

Come on y'all let's get Chris to 10 million subs
Wow, that time of the year already. Our annual ChrisFix Christmas video
Been waiting for this for a long time Chris never disappoints
This is the best video yearly, every year.
Yearly tradition! I love it!
This man is a legend, selling books but not for money, for the new generations to join car communities, legend.
I just owe it to cars and love what they have done for my life and I want others to enjoy that same thing! All my friends are from cars.
Its the long con to sell the next generation his neck light
jk jk, I love his videos
@@chrisfix I belive your tutorials also inspired people who are into ships, aircrafts, stationary engines, etc.
OMG a neck light with a welding mask. brilliant thank you chris.
Brother, because of you Im starting my job as a Service technician at a dealership this Thursday after all my personal car projects I completed from watching your videos. God bless you
Congrats! I'm glad the videos have helped get you that far!
I use that oil drain pan container and I love it! The round yellow pan is supposed to be snapped in the other way (flipped) so that the 2 extension pipes will store between the pan and the container.
I really hope he reads this 😂
Live and learn. See you guys help me too haha.
@@chrisfix now all is right in the world
The Reacher by GarageBoss is sold out everywhere :(
@@jkxss I found that too unfortunately but the regular one without the extensions is still available. Ended up buying that instead, make sure to not drain it to the center saw a lot of reviews of people not realizing there was no hole in the center
Man, your X-mas lists are always so much better than others. Most folks just have the common stuff most of us have... But you always have a very well thought-out and useful list of items that any mechanic would love to use. Keep it up buddy! 👍
I appreciate that! I try to find some of the more “unusual” stuff that most people won’t have already but that is also very helpful!
How have we been blessed by this amazing human? More power to you Chris. 💪
Chris, your videos have given me a lot more confidence to do car projects on my own and save money! I would love to see a video about wrapping - my main questions are whether it's okay for your car's paint to have scratches on it before wrapping it and how to wrap around lettering. Thanks again for posting all of these extremely useful videos!!
I’ve gone from needing to change a simple belt on my car a few years ago and thinking it was as hard as an engine swap, to actually doing an engine swap and everything in between. Chrisfix is hands down the best automotive related channel on YT. Keep up the good work brother!!
That’s awesome man! Glad the videos have been helpful and nice work!
Geez time has been going fast I remember last years Christmas car tools! Thanks Chris for teaching kids and helping adults!
Thanks for all the support! Glad you guys are learning a lot!
Hi merry Christmas please make next video on restoration car love your videos keep it up ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for taking the time to continue this annual tradition!
CONGRATULATIONS ON 10 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS 🎉🎉🎉🎊🙌👏🥳🍾🎉
You did it man🎉
Let's make ChrisFix hit 10 million subs this year as a thank you to all the people that he has helped in the car community.
Wow ChrisFix Mom and Dad's driveway has come along way. Congrats! you saved me ALOT of money teaching me how to fix my own cars. Love the channel.
Thanks a lot!!! Glad you’re learning a lot and can’t wait to teach even more with the new videos coming up!
Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know that you motivated and inspired me to start an apprenticeship as a Mechanic 🔧 in Germany. Thanks a lot for the inspiration and please stay healthy.
You can make a legendary salesman if you want. You're passionate about what you do and you spend time and effort to even explaining what each gift can be used for. I'm not into car fixing but damn you convinced me into buying all of these gifts. cheers man
Chris, I think you are awesome. Your dedication to the craft is inspiring. Love all the car gift ideas.
Thanks a lot!!!
Chris, thank you for your channel and can-do attitude! You are now officially a DIY Paragon, part media guy, part Public Service provider, and a cultural touchstone. In the same class as Project Farm, practically a National Treasure. Cheers!
This will help my dad thank you
after a year I come back to watch chrisfix video's and stumble on this one in 2024 ... well I feel homee😊
Same
Chris, thank you for being transparent on your neck light! I love what you are doing man. Im a mechanic by trade and love watching your videos man. Keep up the good work man!
Thanks a lot man! You guys know me! I am just doing the stuff I love and I want to help as many people as possible!!!
The number of things I’ve learned and fixed using ChrisFix videos over the years videos is huge. He is truly a CZcams legend. Thanks man!
Glad to hear you’re learning a lot!!!
Chris, your videos have given me the motivation to get working on my project car again. After a year of sitting I think it's time. Thank you for everything you do for us!
That’s awesome to hear! I hope the videos continue to teach and inspire!!!
9.99 Million! You're so close to that 10 million milestone.
I can say that living here in lapland when theres 4 months of the year almost completely dark, lights are one of the best gifts around here
That’s rough! I get upset when they turn the clocks back. Hopefully this light brings some brightness to your short days!
@@chrisfix Thanks
Have the Matco and Cornwell versions of the "neck lights" I just call em my headlights tho. The absolute number one perk to the "neck lights" when you're wearing them on your head propped up on top of the ear, the light source is so close to your eyes that they allow you to see down inside the engine bay, down in spark tubes, inside solid axle tubes, thru all the tiny gaps you gotta look thru when working on any engine.
I notice I use them on my head a lot as well. It’s like having light vision!
@@chrisfix The only time I take mine off is when they need to be charged, at which point I take a set off the charger and put those on. I'm a full time mechanic, I run my own shop, I also do 24/7 offroad recovery and 24/7 roadside repair.
Hi Chris. I bought your books for all of my grandchildren ages 4 to 10. The youngest one said "so now we can work on cars like Grandpa?".....priceless. I also bought the FLIR system and it is quite impressive. As a retired Semiconductor Engineer I have used thermal systems on and off for a long time now. I wish I would have had this system to use at work.
I love the FLIR thermal camera, I think it is the best gadget this year, because unlike most of the gadgets it is very helpful and handy for everything, not just cars!
Thank you for the amazing ideas Chris!
thanks for teaming up with us to do the neck light! can't wait for the next project that's in the works!!! team JDTCO
Me neither!
Just ordered the wrench extender. Been using a galvanized pipe that slips on the end as taught by my dad for decades. It works but sometimes is too long- this will be a great add to my tool box!
Life bru!
got the “neck light” last year from big box store and love it, I have also used it around head and it stays put, wear a hat if it bothers you.
The fact that he actually published books for children on how to change oil and a tire, is very wholesome.
Much respect to you Chris for supporting a family business through your CZcams channel. I am definitely getting me a neck light!
I appreciate that
Man can’t believe I been watching you for so long, and will continue to
Thanks for the ongoing support!
Thank you Chris for everything you taught so far, you are one of the few youtubers that helped me start working on cars and is now been over 2 years since I entered the automotive world and now currently a Toyota technician.
Happy holidays
That’s awesome man! Glad the videos are helpful and you’re learning a lot! Keep it up!!!
the fact that he buys the presents, wraps them all, just to tear em open again and be excited is phenomenal to me
What a dude! Less than a dollar for the book, charity for the neck light. Chris, you are an amazing human! Thank you for just being you
Congrats on 10M my man, keep the work u doing amazing
It's crazy how much I look forward to this video every year. Chris, you always help me surprise my diesel mechanic husband on Christmas. Thank you for that, and for getting more people, especially kids, interested in cars! Merry Christmas!
Great to hear! That’s exactly why I make the video!!!
Thermal imaging would be great for checking PC temps too, not just handyman stuff. I didn't think thermal imaging equipment could be affordable. So glad I watched this.
I've purchased a larger version and have used it for auto purposes, and finding missing insulation in the walls, circuit wiring with a load, I DID find a leak in the ceiling from a leaking pipe above, and a couple of other uses. You can see if a catalytic converter is lighting up, fresh liquid spills, wiring pulling a lot of current and other uses.
Yknow, I’m not much into cars and tuning and all that anymore, but I still hang out and watch ChrisFix because I still save a ton of money doing all the regular maintenance on my car. I’m not doing anything crazy anymore but I appreciate the knowledge and comfortability of working on my own car and knowing how things are under the hood
Glad the videos have been helpful and nice work doing your own maintenance!
A thermal camera is good to find problem with house insulations and find where you can save most on your energy bill 😁
I find all of the products Chris presents interesting and very useful. They reflect the opinions of people who actually do auto maintenance. Greetings from Japan.
Thanks a lot and thanks for the support from Japan!
I'm so glad to see Chris expanding his own product line of tools!
Thanks a lot! It’s all stuff I think you guys could find useful when you go to work on your cars!
Besides the Bible, your books will be the first my kids learn how to read. Thanks for everything Chris, and being that handyman dad to a lot of us without one. You’ve made an insane impact, merry Christmas
Congratulations you are one of my lucky viewers, hit 🎯 me up on T👉to receive your package 📦🎉 🎉🎉
Chris I’ve fixed and kept my first car cause of you. And it’s slowly becoming a rare breed. Going in 4 years of ownership
Santa do not skip!! I want them all❤😂
I love your channel I'm 12 years old and I just finished changing the oil and break pads on my mom's 2005 Honda element and I had help from your videos you're such a big inspiration for me thanks
Nice work!!!! Glad the videos are helpful!
thanks Chris
i just want to thank you for making my dreams come true. if i didnt watch you 2 years ago for the first time, i would not even think about buying a car at the age of 14. and guess what, i succesfully bought it, and i am currently learning how to properly repair it. you helped me alot, thanks.
Thanks for the vacuum extractor suggestion!
That thermal camera was pretty cool! Wouldn't have thought to use it for so many different applications!
I have the exact oil drip pan. I store the yellow catch funnel inside out, and the adjustment funnels under the catch funnel, and everything is stored nicely. The only thing that changes is the thickness of the storage can, as now the round funnel convex part is facing out instead of fitting in the cavity.
Please get on collector car feed for a round of cars against humanity. We need the crossover!
Already got some of these after this video, thanks ChrisFix!
Magnificent, this will help my father, thanks Chris!
Excellent books @ChrisFix, just what the world needs , real life skills.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
You’re doing a great job Chris as always helping people out with ideas. Love this !
the best first car in my opinion is a 1992 to 1996 camry. you can find em for around 2 to 3 grand in good condition and they are extremely reliable. keep your maintenance up and they can go forever.
I’ve got the snap on neck lights for work and they are a god send. Even if they get low they still provide light and they charge fast.
That’s awesome! I like how it comes off. That could come in handy! But yeah the battery on these are great and the quick charge is nice!
@@chrisfix the only issue I’ve had were the magnets physically coming out of the back of the pod light, sticking to the larger magnet in the neck piece. Nothing a little super glue can’t fix but just a heads up if you ever plan on implementing that feature! 😎
can't wait to use the vacuum extractor for my blinker fluid!
hahahaha
Bro that stick light transition was way too smooth 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I'm so happy this video came out! I was starting to think we were not going to have a Christmas gift guide video. I really look forward to this every year!
I almost didn’t because how crazy things are with the move but I dropped everything and made it happen bc traditions are great!!!
Chris never misses with his videos. Keep ‘em comin. Can’t wait to get more views of the place.
Dang now i want all of them 😩 gotta start saving up
your vette is insanely clean, props to you for keeping it so nice!
I think the Chris-mas gifts were super cool this year too! My favorite is those magnetic charging lights!! I like the Wilton for second place! Happy holidays Chris to you and your family. Hope your new house is working out great for you!
Thanks a lot!!!! Happy holidays!
I love the Flir camera, didn't know they were available.
I own two of the exact same oil catch pans that you showed and they are wonderful to use. When I store my catch pan in the top, I flip it over and I'm able to put the two extensions between the catch pan and the black container, I always know where they are.
Merry Christmas Chrisfix, I always enjoy your videos.
I'll have to do that! Can't believe I didn't think of that haha. Merry Christmas!
its crazy how much my guy went into creating high quality videos that probably took days to film (even years!) and still has the time to read literally every comments in the new and decades old videos, not to mention the videos in the other platform too such as Instagram. my guy earned that 10 million subs
Bro how are you real...
You point out the pros and cons of every other product competitor including yours... Get less than a dollar per book on your sales... Give all proceeds to charity... I- ... I'm speechless bro. What a dude. Efen you earned some money, you'd deserve them, fr.

@@chrisfix thx always
Chris, I really enjoy your videos. You are a fantastic teacher. Your ability to keep the subject interesting, your upbeat attitude and your use of excellent video angles makes these videos highly informative and entertaining. I have used them several times to fix my kids cars. Keep up the good work. You truly deserve all the success you have attained. I am going to check out your ChrisFish videos as I love to fish too. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Thanks a lot!!!!
Your home must have been your own gift to yourself. You deserve all of the love
I just dont think that it is possible to show and explain stuff better than this. That is why your channel is pure gold. Thank you very much for your work.🙏 🙂
Thanks!
Congratulations for 10 million subscribers.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have the garage boss oil pan and it's been awesome! Just a heads up, you can flip the yellow funnel around and hide the two yellow pipes between the pan and the funnel...it snaps into place just fine... I'm not a mechanic, just a dude and this helped a lot on my drive from Boston to Alaska doing my own oil change every 5000 miles. Awesome video Chris!
Good to know!
@@chrisfixthe GarageBoss Reacher 12.5 Qt oil pan is sold out and nobody in the country can buy them. Just talked to GarageBoss customer service and they said they only sell to businesses and the only business that has bought that item this year was Meijer.
Meijer only ships 10 miles away from their stores in Ohio and the search on their site only searches that specific store.
AutoZone used to have these, but ended their contract and isn't buying anymore. eBay/Amazon/online stores don't have it. Just FYI
ChrisFix is the friend every guy needs.
The FLIR unit was spmething my wife got me for my birthday. Love the thing. My alternate use came up last month, doing a bluing touch up on a friend's. 357 magnum. Bluing absorbs into the metal best, when the metal is preheated. I use it to make sure the steel is the same as the bluing solution.
Have also used it to locate exhaust leaks, as escaping gas is hotter than the pipes. See a hot spot, adjust, weld, or tighten. Makes finding header gasket leaks easier.
Wife uses it to monitor the smoker temp as well, critical with ribs and briskets.
And I just ordered her the fluid vac.
On the drain pan, we took an old vacuum cleaner extension holder set, and epoxied a magnet to it. Insert the tubes, add a rubber or cloth layer to said magnet.
You can store it on your box, and have it on standby, off a lift post, or the body of the car, in easy reach. Cut the magnet off an old speaker. Works well for that.
Sits perfect on the floor or skid plate, out of the way, but in easy reach.
Chris I have the same drain pan, if you flip the funnel over it still locks in and you have room for the extensions under it
Yooooooo that is such a good idea!!!!! Thanks so much!
Yoooo Chris you’re about to hit 10Mill🎉🎉
Hey Chris! I found your channel not so long ago and I like your videos, I just got a 2012 Subaru Outback from my parents and I've been working on it a lot thanks to your videos, I replaced my old brakes, replaced the tires, gave it a good oil and fluid replacement, super cleaned EVERYTHING and all that thanks to you. I was a complete newbie in taking care of my car but now I know a lot more. I've been looking to upgrade my car's stereo system, but I couldn't find a good video that shows how to get it done like your videos do. I would really appreciate it if you would consider making such a video, explaining everything about the stereo system from the subwoofer, the speakers, amp, and radio, how it all works, and how to upgrade it.
Thanks again for making such informative and helpful videos, keep it up!!!
Hey Chris! Thank you for the videos. Helps with my car anxiety. I have the same oil catch container. You can just throw the extensions where you place the disc before you snap the disc in and flip the disc the other way.
When's the turbo del sol vid
I am planning on making that video once I get the video I've been working on published (should be later this week) stay tuned ;)
