I’ve got an X220 as well, great value.
GPS problems - total PITA. Suspect that it has something to do with your hi power Vtx. Try an M10 GPS - they are better at dealing with interference and they are cheap. If that doesn’t work, reposition it away from electronics. If that doesn’t improve things, then you are going to have to shield your cables. Wire mesh around the cable with a lead soldered from the mesh to a ground, whole lot insulated to prevent shorts. Another PITA, but pays off with quicker acquisition, more sats and that nice warm fuzzy feeling from having Rescue available if SHTF.

I have a few M10 gps units and yes they are nice. I've since found the Caddx gps. And I have to say its the fastest and most efficient gps I have ever seen.... Happy flying mate. 🔥👊

still got a brand new one in the box - BNF frsky can't get to bind with anything - tried everything - think FC is dead - Eachine "support" is doesn't exist! - any ideas?
For sure. I'd pit money on your fc being ok. Can you see the light in the receiver flashing when you power up the quad.
@@SkyPilotFPV ..the receiver(s) ..R-XSR and XM Plus (ive tried them both) - indicate that the quad is bound (my QX7 says receiver still on when trying to power off)...the quad came with leads already soldered to FC ....so soldering on receiver should be easy....ive tried a total of 5 different frsky receivers, shortening leads....im getting 5V and ground - so the problem must be SBUS lead....ive tried contacting eachine three times and gotten no responce....ive pretty much given up - unless you might have an idea or two.....i'm flumexed!!!....
ok. what info is Betaflight giving you. Is your reciever talking to your tx.
I'ts been a while since i last bound an xm receiver but we should be able to get her sorted...
@@SkyPilotFPV No the FC does not recognize the R-XSR....which is why I felt that the problem might be in the ports tab....(after trying the ports setup in the Manual) I tried every possible configuration to find the correct uart.....still nothing....by the way I appriciate the help!
